  See Image Mary Pat Heins, born to Katherine and Jim Ry an on January 22nd, 1930 in Seattle died at home in Poulsbo, Washingto n, on February 14th, 1996, surrounded by her family. She was a gradua te of Holy Names Academy and attended Seattle University. For the pa st 20 years in the Poulsbo area, Mary Pat has been involved in the soci al out reach of St. Olaf's Parish, cooking for the family kitchen progra m, serving on the religious education commission, and acting as a home vis itor for the sick. Fifteen years ago Mary Pat became the director of S t. Olaf's Day Care Center, the first parish sponsored child-care cent er in the Archdiocese of Seattle. Mary Pat will be remembered for her de ep love of children and family and for her dedication to those special peo ple physically and or mentally challenged. Preceded in death by her husba nd, Berle Heins, survivors include her children and their spouses, Michae l, Susan, Kathy and John Walczuk, Jim and Lori Heins, John and Michele Hei ns, Matthew and Carolyn Heins, Molly and Michael Nikunen, and Timothy a nd Isabel Heins. Her grandchildren are, Nicole Heins, Matthew, Michael a nd Mary Kathryn Walczuk, Lindsay, Jamie and Taylor Heins, Cora and Andr ew Heins, and Katy and Tim Heins. Mary Pat is also survived by her brothe rs, Tim and his wife, Shirley, and Father Michael J. Ryan, of Olympia, h er aunt Marion McMahon and double cousin, Dick Ryan, and her step brothe rs and sisters, Marian, Rita, Emma, John and Dick Watchie and numerous nie ces, nephews and cousins. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, Februa ry 16th, 1996 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Olaf's, burial in Calvary cemetery Seat tle.
