  Roland "Rollie" J. Robach, age 60, of Kaukauna, passed away at home on Sunday, February 15, 2009. He was born July 26, 1948, in Kaukauna, the son of Robert and Luella (Casey) Robach Sr. and was a graduate of Kaukauna High School. Rollie served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was awarded the purple heart for his service. He was a member of Kaukauna Electric City VFW Post #3319. Rollie worked for Appleton Paper for 21 years, retiring in 2006 as a result of a work injury. Prior to his injury, he was an avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing, duck hunting and bowling. Roland is survived by his brother: Richard "Dick" (Theresa) Robach of Kaukauna; and very close friends: Mickey Thompson and Diane Smith. He is further survived by his uncle: William Robach, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Robert "Bubba" Robach Jr. A funeral service for Roland will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, at FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Kaukauna. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until time of services on Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna. The family wishes to thank ThedaCare Hospice at Home for their tender loving care.
