  Zita Josepha Britz Norman, 97, SERVICES: Visitation and funeral services were held Tuesday, May 30, at Guardian Angels church in Oakdale, Minn., and burial was June 2 in the Norman family plot in Virginia. Zita Josepha Britz Norman, 97, formerly of Virginia and West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 25, 2006 surrounded by family in Woodbury, Minn. She was born Zita Josepha Britz Feb. 19, 1909, in Roscoe, Minn., and came to Virginia in November 1935 as the new bride of Robert E. Norman, a Mountain Iron teacher and Virginia native. She spent most of her life in West Virginia raising five children, keeping up her home, an avid bridge player and a woman who could work magic with fabric. She and Robert moved to Chisago City after the death of their son Bill in 1988. She is survived by four of her children, Zita Marie (Don) Coburn of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Pine River, Minn., Robert (Pauline) of Los Angeles; John (Jane) of Madison, Wis., and James of Woodbury, Minn., and Bradenton, Fla.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; many local relatives, including brother-in-law Jack Norman (Dorothea) of Mountain Iron; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and sister, Rosetta (Don) Hanson in Coon Rapids. She was preceded in death by eight siblings; her husband; and one son
