  Park County Republican and Farplay Flume, Colorodo
  Born in Kaukauna, Wisc. Sept. 7, 1955 - died at hospital July 11, 2010. Dave and wife of 30 years, Diane Bitters, came to Colorado on vacation in 1982 and decided to stay. They moved to Harris Park in 1983, and he built his home in Harris Park from the ground up, with only a few experts to handle where he lacked experience. He did all of the carpentry, climbing two ladders to put up the ceiling cedar. Electrical with inspection by his mentor, friend Dave (Moon). Tile floors, outside cedar, roof and much more. Dave owned and operated the Harris Park Shoppette grocery and liquor store from 1984-1986. He was a graduate of University of Wisconsin - Madison in Computer Science; Metropolitan State College of Denver, Colo - Land Surveyor. Professions: computer analyst, Harris Park Shoppette grocery store owner, electrician's apprentice, truck driver, carpenter, surveyor, built our house from the ground up. There will be a memorial in his hometown next week, day to be determined.
