On Peters death card reads the following: Pray for the Soul of Peter Lappens, husband of GertrudeTillemans and Maria Allegonda Van Opstal. born at Eersel, Holland,February 15, 1835, and after timely receiving the last Sacraments died at Kaukauna, Wisconsin, November 21, 1912. I felt sick and there was none that could help me. But I sought the Lord and he heard me, and hedelivered me from all my troubles. With him that feareth the Lord, itshall go well in the latter end, and in the day of his death he shall be blessed. Eccl. I. He was a just man before God, walking in all the commandments and justifications of the Lord without blame. Farewell,dear wife and children, weep no more, our seperation will not be long;we will meet each other again in Heaven. Sweet Hearts of Jesus and Mary be my refuge. (300 Days Indulgence).
