  Henry E. Pagenkopf, age 86, of Mount Morris, passed away Sunday morning, September 2, 2007, at the Wild Rose Manor. He was born October 5, 1920, in Milwaukee the son of William E. and Jane (Ennis) Pagenkopf. He married Margaret Schroeder, she preceded him in death on September 5, 1982. He later married Arlene Buttles on January 2, 1988, in Waupaca. She preceded him in death on January 30, 2004. Mr. Pagenkopf served his country in the United States Navy. Henry was a very generous and giving man and was grateful for all that was done for him. Mr. Pagenkopf was very involved with the Lutheran Retreat Association along with the Mount Morris Lakes Association. He was a lifelong Republican. He is survived by two step-grandchildren, Jonathan (fiancee, Jen) Spaar, Kewaskum, and Jeremy Spaar, Ogdensburg; further survived by other relatives and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel in the Pines, on Bighorn Lane, Mount Morris with the Rev. William E. Meier officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Wild Rose. Family and friends may call from 12:00 noon Saturday until the time of service at the Chapel in the Pines, Mount Morris. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated for Faith Community Church, Waupaca, the Lutheran Retreat Association, the Salvation Army or a charity of your choice.
