IDA DONKERS Mrs. R.P. Donkers, 84, former Manitowoc resident, died Monday evening at Memorial Hospital, Sheboygan, following an illness of several years. She had been residing at Elm Nursing Home, Sheboygan. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Mittnacht Funeral Home, Manitowoc, with the Rev. Paul Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The former Ida Sancy was born at Wrightstown, Wis., Jan. 4, 1876, daughter of the late William and Sophie Bonsak Sancy. She was educated in Wrightstown schools and in 1896 was married to Rudolph P. Donkers. The couple lived several years at Green Bay and then moved to Miles City, Mont., where the husband was an engineer for the Northern Pacific Railroad. He died in 1950. Mrs. Donkers is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Carl Alt and Mrs. Charles Ludwig of Manitowoc and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
