  Mrs. Minnie H. Fischer, 86, formerly of 241 Waugoo Ave., died Thursday at 9:30 p.m. at Winnebago County Hospital, where she had been a patient two months Prior to going to the hospital, she had lived at Pleasant Acres six years. She was born in Oshkosh on Dec. 28, 1876, daughter of John and Henrietta Schoblaski. She was married to Nicholas Green on Nov. 7, 1900, and he preceded her in death in June 1950. Mrs. Fischer moved to Long Beach, Calif. in 1924, returning to Oshkosh in 1937. She was a member of St. John Catholic church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Verna Ockerman, Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Mrs. M. J. Perkins, Oshkosh, and Mrs. Cora Strellow, Neenah; two grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers. Services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Marquardt Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church, with the Rev. Walter T. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 p.m. this evening until the hour of services.
