Anne M. (Triatik) Timmers, 90, a resident of Manor Care Nursing Health Services, Appleton, entered eternal life peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2007, surrounded by her family. Anne was born on June 3, 1916, the daughter of John and Sophie (Chasky) Triatik in Hammond, Indiana. Anne spent her younger years in North Fond du Lac. She loved to dance and was a hairdresser until she met and married Bob Timmers on April 11, 1940. Living most of their married life in Appleton, they also enjoyed many years with family and friends at the cottage on Shawano Lake. Anne and her husband started the Bargain Bulletin in May 1964, where Anne worked for many years. She was a long time member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She is survived by three sons: Bob Timmers Jr., Nashville, Tennessee; Terry (Carol) Timmers, Appleton; Mike (Gale) Timmers, Neenah; three daughters: Vicky Johnson, Appleton; Valerie (George) Hackel, Appleton; and Peggy (Joe) Bissing, Appleton; 14 grandchildren: Scott (Dawn)Timmers, Becky (Tim) Rink, Steve Timmers, Ric (Stevi) Timmers, Paul (Lisa) Manske, Todd Timmers, Chris Hackel, Heidi (Mike) Lesselyong, Jesse (Becky) Bissing, Daniel Bissing, Lexy Bissing, Melissa Timmers, Amanda Timmers and Matt Timmers; 11 great-grandchildren: Arianne, Ben and Cody Timmers, Ryan Rink, Marissa Timmers, Sydney, Zachery and Abby Manske, Owen Lesselyong, Briley and Jase Bissing. Anne is also survived by her sister Lydia (Barney)Tagliapetria, Alburquerque, New Mexico; brother, Ray (Elaine) Triatik, Fond du Lac; sisters-in-law: Marian Triatik, Fond du Lac; Joyce LaBerge, Lapier, Michigan; very special friend, Faye Gilroy and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years in 1990, her parents, brothers: Dan, John (Cub), Freddie, sisters-in-law: Maggie and MyrtleTriatik. Funeral services for Anne will be at 11:30 am Friday, March 2, 2007, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, with Rev. Brian Belongia officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Appleton. Visitation will be held at Valley Funeral Home on Thursday, March 1, 2007, from 4-7 p.m. and again Friday at the church from 10:30 until the time of mass. There will be a prayer service Thursday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at ManorCare and Heartland Hospice for their support.
