I want to thank everyone for all the cards and gifts I received while being treated for cancer. I can't begin to name names; there are so many. You all have been helpful and understanding even when I wasn't my best. So thank you. Everyone that waved or talked to me while I was walking, it sure helped to encourage me.
The best words someone can say to someone like me is "we're thinking of you" or "we're praying for you" So thanks to all of you that said those words to me. Remember I didn't give up, but I had to be realistic. Written by Karla Nooyen
