    Gerald G. Kitzmiller, 86, Appleton, passed away on March 10, 2016. He was born on May 21, 1929 to the late Gordon and Josephine (Goetzman) in Appleton. He graduated from Appleton High School. Gerald served with the US Army during the Korean War. He worked at The Appleton Wire Works for 35 years as a wire weaver. On November 25, 1954 he married Helen Jaeckels.
    Gerald was a member of Hope Church, where he served as a deacon for the past 9 years. He is now walking with Jesus Christ on the streets of Gold. Gerald was an avid Packers fan, being a season ticket holder since 1965. He also enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings, listening to the Brewers' games. He loved being outdoors, fishing, duck hunting, wood fires and the autumn season. He took pride and enjoyed taking care of his yard. He also loved parades and listening to the bands.
    He is survived by his wife, Helen; children, John "Jack" (Julie) Kitzmiller and Wendy (Tad) Bebeau; grandchildren, Joshua and Jordan Kitzmiller, Matthew, Joshua (Ashley) and David Bebeau; great grandchildren, Elijah and Henry Bebeau; as well as many other family and friends.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Glen (Bets) Kitzmiller.
    Visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Hope Church (1320 W. Wisconsin Ave, Appleton) from 3 pm to the time of funeral service at 5pm. Rev. Bruce Dailey will be officiating. Military honors are to follow.
