    David G. Jolette 94, Appleton, passed away Wednesday April 7, 2010, at Rennes Health Care Center following a brief illness. He was born May 9, 1915, to the late Phillip and Salina (Meyers) Jolette in Niagra, Wisconsin. He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. David married Ruby Leeman April 21, 1952, and she preceded him in death exactly two years ago. David was a pipe fitter for Kimberly-Clark. He enjoyed bowling in leagues with his wife and his son and was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed watching all Wisconsin teams.
    He will be greatly missed by his children: Daniel (Bonnie) Wadie, Sherwood; Debra (Joseph) Tierney, Appleton; Michael (Joann) Jolette, Florida; grandchildren: Laurie, Julie, Sarah, Angela, Josette, Stephanie, Elizabeth, Trina, Rachel, Tim, Tammy, Kelly and Dawn; many great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerald Jolette, Kalamazoo, MI; a sister, Eleanor LaLiberte, Niagra, WI; two brothers-in-law: Marvin (Aileen) Leeman, Salem, Illinois; Kenneth Carlson, Iron Mountain; two sisters-in-law: Fran Forst, Green Bay; Vernice Jacques, Iron Mountain, MI; sons-in-law: Cliff Hughes and Richard Griesbach. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    David was also preceded in death by his daughters: Patricia Hughes and Pamela Griesbach; three sisters: Roma LaLiberte, Lucille Powers and Clarice Steeno; two brothers: Leo and Ray; sisters-in-law: Viola (Len) Lombardo and Beatrice (Kenneth) Skog; great-grandchild Nicholas.
    Funeral services for David will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010, at the Valley Funeral Home. Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Appleton. Friends may visit the family from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service also at the funeral home, Saturday. A memorial fund is being established.
    The family would like to thank the staff of Rennes for their compassionate care of Dad.
