Menting, Michael P., "Mike" D arboyAge 48, died in Appleton on January 25, 2003. He was born in Appleton on M arch 1, 1954; son of the late Raymond and Dorothy (Williams) Menting. On O ctober 3, 1981 he married Julie Driessen at St. Paul Catholic Church, Comb ined Locks. He worked as a mill worker and supervisor at Appleton Coated C ombined Locks for 30 years. He appreciated his family's love of music a nd dedicated his time and talents at Kimberly High School where he built t heatrical sets for the students. Mike was very proud of his children and t heir accomplishments. He was there for them in every aspect of their live s. He was a very devoted husband and loved his family dearly.Mike is survived by his wife Julie; two children: Tyler (special friend El izabeth Beyer) and Samantha (special friend Andrew Barth); two brothers: R aymond (Jane) Menting Jr., Kimberly; and James (Judy) Menting, Little Chut e; two sisters: Marge (James ) Peerenboom, Combined Locks; and Karen (Lyl e) Vandenberg, Combined Locks; mother and father-in-law, Tom and Jo Driess en, Combined Locks; two brothers-in-law: Paul (Traudl) Driessen, German y; and Andy (Sharon) Driessen, California; sister-in-law, Shari Driesse n, Kaukauna; further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and frien ds.Mike is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother John Menting.The memorial service will be at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 200 3, at the JANSEN FARGO FUNERAL HOME, 204 East Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, w ith Deacon George Schraufnagel presiding. Friends will be received at t he funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Town of Buchan an First Response Team and the ambulance staff.
