His second marriage to Maria Philipsen produced a daughter, Maria Jacomina, born 19 Feb 1865 and died 29 Aug 1865 both in Broekhuizenvorst. This is probably your Jacomiel from the first marriage. I can't find a birth certificate for this Jacomiel over here.

Mrs. Henry Verkuilen, 61, Wilson Street, Kimberly, died at 5:15 this morning at Appleton. She was born in West Depere, Feb, 16, 1877, and lived in Kimberly for the last 30 years. Mrs. Verkuilen was a member of the Christian Mothers Society of Holy Name Church.
Surviving are the widower, one daughter, Elizabeth, at home, one son, Matthew, Kimberly, three sisters, Mrs. Martin Albers, Mrs. Gertrude Heegen, De Pere, Mrs. George Peterson, Green Bay; three brothers, George, John Minten, town of Lawrence, Peter Minten, Racine and two Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at Holy Name church by the Rev. C. B. Vanden Borne. Burial will be at the parish cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at the home at 7:30 Saturday, Sunday and Monday evening and at the church at 2:30 Sunday Afternoon and 7:30 Saturday and Monday Evenings.

Matthew A. Minten, 90, 1221 Circle Drive, Ashwaubenon, died Friday Morning, Dec. 21, 1990 in a Florida hospital. He was born May 14, 1900 in De Pere to the late George and Anna (Verkuilen) Minten. On Aug. 18, 1931 he married the former Cecelia Bos in St. Boniface Church. She preceded him in death Nov. 23, 1983.
Mr. Minten retired in 1965 as De Pere Park Superintendent after 15 years. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Her second husband, William Anderson, who she marri ed in 1952, preceded her in death in 1954. Johanna was employed by St. Mar y's Hospital for 15 years prior to retiring in 1986. She was a member of S t. Joseph Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Society as well as VFW Auxi liary Post #2037, Howard. Johanna enjoyed time with her family, playing bi ngo and was an avid fan of the Packers, Brewers and Bucks.

Bernard F. Albers, 84, took Jesus hand to join his beloved wife, Laurie, on September 2, 2000. He was comforted by his family, who were praying at his side. Bernard was born June 14, 1916, in De Pere to the late Martin and Mary Albers. On June 14, 1949, he married Laurie (Van Camp) Albers. Bernard served in the Army in World War II. Bernard was self employed as a home contractor. (Martin Albers & Son) and (Albers Builders), until his retirement. Bernard had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed cooking, writing poetry, reading and creating various carpentry projects. He often challenged his grandchildren wiht thinking games. He was a devoted member and colunteer at Our Lady of Lourdes.

Mary J. Vanden Hoogen (Mae Albers), 89, De Pere, passed away peacefully on Christmas Eve 2009, at a local hospital surrounded by her family. She was born May 1, 1920, to the late John and Nellie (Minten) Vanden Heuvel. On Sept. 24, 1941, she married Henry Albers and he preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 1964. She then married Herman Vanden Hoogen on Oct. 22, 1966, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 22, 1985. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Community of De Pere. She loved to play cards and go to the casino. She was a real role model to her family whom she loved to spend time with. Mae especially loved and waited for the hugs from her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Carol (Tom) Trofka, Janice (Jerry) Van Groll, Don (Janice) Albers, Betty (Joe) Vissers, Marilou (Bill) Colfax, Ann (Jerry) Henrigillis, Dorothy Vanden Hoogen, Barbara (John) Prince and Kathy (Mike) Metoxen. Mae is further survived by her 29 grandchildren, and 40 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Della DeStarkey, and her in laws; Bud (Audrey) Albers, Lorraine Albers, and Agatha Albers, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mae was preceded in death by her two husbands; her son, Bob Vanden Hoogen; as well as her siblings, Josephine (Alphonse) Rottier, Ted (Tony) Weyers, Francis (Marie) Vanden Heuvel. Jeanette (Bob) Vissers, Marv (Elaine) Vanden Heuvel and Don DeStarkey, as well as numerous inlaws.

Della enjoyed her free time. She loved gambling with her daughters, playing cards with her nieces and nephews and for 18 years she walked everyday with her neighbor and best friend, Jane Wilson. She considered herself a people person and loved "comparing" children with her sister Mae. Della loved the Chicago Cubs.

Funeral mass for Agnes Elizabeth (Van Doren) Stankovich, 96, will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic church. burial will be at holy Cross Cemetery. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Stankovich, who was born in Chewelah, Wash., died Wednesday.
she married Mark Stankovich in 1925.
Mrs. Stankovich worked at Lakeland Village in Medical Lake. She later worked for the Walla Walla State Penitentiary. she retired in 1966 as head matron of the woman's quarters.
She and her husband moved to Spokane in 1966.
Mrs. Stankovich was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Her husband died in 1976.
She is survived by a brother, William Van Doren of Spokane.

Helen C. (Albers) Van Vonderen, 101, passed into the hands of our Lord on Sunday, February 21, 2016. She was born May 11, 1914, the first child of George and Harriet (Denissen) Albers. On November 9, 1943, she was united in marriage to Norbert Van Vonderen at St. Boniface Church, De Pere. Together they raised their daughter Mari.
Helen was born, raised, and lived her entire life in De Pere until January 2016 when she moved to an apartment at St. Paul Villa, Kaukauna. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and meticulous homemaker, cook, and seamstress. Helen worked in retail in the De Pere area including at the White Store in the shoe department. She will be remembered for her kindness, determination, and her "sweetness and spunk" throughout her life. Helen also spent a number of years volunteering at the De Pere Christian Outreach, enjoying Seroogy's candies, and contributions as a faithful member of St. Francis Xavier Church, De Pere.
Helen is survived by her grandchildren: Nina (Aaron) Penning and Michael (Julie) Pienta; son-in-law Marty Root; great granddaughters: Ariauna, Zoe, Lucy and Ruby; sisters: Marie Denissen and Blanche (Jerry) Eckers; and sister-in-law Grace Albers. In addition, she is survived by many loving nieces and nephews from both the Albers and Van Vonderen family and numerous friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Norbert; daughter Mari Root; sisters: Katherine (Francis) DuPuis and Adele (Robert) Collaer, brothers: Clem Albers and Eugene (Mary) Albers: brother-in-law Robert Denissen; father and mother-in-law Frank and Ann Van Vonderen; and the rest of Norbert's family.
Family and friends may visit from 8:30 to 10:00 am on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at St. Francis Xavier Church, De Pere. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am at the church with Fr. Judah Pigon, MF officiating. Burial will be next to her husband Norbert in Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Stella M. Treml age 86, Freedom, passed away Friday afternoon August 20, 2 004 at an Appleton Hospital. She was born January 7, 1918 in Green Bay dau ghter of the late Leonard and Minnie (Denissen) Ambrosius. On April 16, 19 40 she was united in marriage to Bernard Treml at St. Boniface Church in W est De Pere. He preceded her in death July 14, 1983. Ladwehr, Grace E. Grace "Mike" (Ambrosius) Landwehr passed away on May 16, 2012 in her home in De Pere, surrounded by her family. She was 92. Grace was born on March 28, 1920, the third of eight children. She spent her childhood on her family's farm on County Road EE in West De Pere, and it would be just a short distance from here, on Grant Street, where she would build a family and a life with her husband Carl. The two were married on November 7, 1942, and together they raised 13 children, instilling in them a deep faith, unwavering strength and soft, loving hearts. The strongest lesson Grace taught her children, however, was the impenetrable bond of family. Grace was the nucleus of a growing family that numbered more than 100 when she died. Over the years, her home served as a gathering place in times of celebration, a place of comfort and strength in times of trial, and a joyful place in the ordinary days. Around her kitchen table, brothers and sisters formed unsinkable bonds, and in her backyard, cousins moved beyond family ties to develop lifelong friendships. A deep Catholic faith wove through Grace's 92 years. She was an active, lifelong member of St. Boniface and Our Lady of Lourdes parishes. Grace believed deeply in prayer, and she instilled this faith in each of her children. They know she was welcomed into the Lord's loving arms. Grace is survived by her 13 children: Judy (Mike) Parins, Jerry (Ellen) Landwehr, John (Eileen) Landwehr, Chuck (Pat) Landwehr, Dan (Judy) Landwehr, Joan (Dan) Van Grunsven, Betty (Dan) Danen, MaryKay (Jack) Bressers, Jim (Laurie) Landwehr, Diane (Ed) Kiley, David (Judy) Landwehr, Peggy (David) Blondheim and Barbie (Mark) Van Bellinger. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by 34 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. Grace is also survived by two sisters, Ethel (Bob) Liebergen and Beulah Van Schyndel; sister-in-law Marcella Ambrosuis; in-laws, Vernon (Carol) Landwehr, Rita Haase, Don (Marian) Landwehr, Fritz Landwehr, and many nieces and nephews. Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Carl; infant daughter Patricia and her parents, Leonard (Minnie) Ambrosius. She is also reunited with her brothers, Raymond and Vernon Ambrosius; sisters, Rita Cleven, Stella Treml and Henrietta Gerbers; granddaughter, Susan (Parins) Nickel, and many brothers and sisters-in-law. Rita was a long-time member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Oneida.

Raymond G. Ambrosius Sr., 82, Seymour, passed on to eternal rest on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at home, with his family by his side. He was born Aug. 10, 1928, in Brown County, son of the late Leonard and Minnie (Dennison) Ambrosius.
He married Lucille M. Rudzinski on Feb. 16, 1952, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Hofa Park. They shared 53 wonderful years together until her death in September 2005. Ray and Lucille farmed most of their lives in the Town of Cicero until their retirement in 1994.
Ray served in the United States Army with the 235th Field Artillary Observation Battalion during the Korean Conflict. He belonged to the American Legion Post 106 in Seymour.
He was a volunteer for the East Cicero Volunteer Fire Department for 26 years. Ray was an active member at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Seymour since 1959.
Ray always enjoyed a good laugh, playing cards, baseball, watching things grow, and especially spending time with his family.

Hattie M. Van Wychen, 79, W688 Golden Glow Rd., Kaukauna, died peaceful ly at her home, with family at her side, Monday morning, Oct. 28, 2002. S he was born Aug. 30, 1923, to the late George and Mathilda (Minten) Ambros ius, in West De Pere. Hattie married John J. Van Wychen on May 6, 194 7, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, De Pere and they farmed in the To wn of Kaukauna all of their lives. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Al aska and was an avid attendee of the Warrens Cranberry Festival and was pr oud of her collection of Cranberry Festival Buttons of 30 years. Hattie w as a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers, s he volunteered at St. Nicholas School as a server for the hot lunch progra m, she founded the On The Go 4-H Club and was a member of the Town of Kauk auna Historical Society, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Freedom VFW Unit #76 92 and was a volunteer for Home Care for the Elderly.

Evelyn L. DeVos, 87, De Pere, passed away on Friday morning October 21, 2016. She was born September 4, 1929 to the late Mathias and Elizabeth (Van Gheem) Minten. On June 17, 1950 she married Peter DeVos. Evelyn enjoyed the outdoors, whether it was camping, golfing, or traveling to Florida, She also liked to crochet, a good game of cards, and of course Happy Hour. Evelyn retired from St. Norbert College.
She is survived by her husband Peter, her daughter Lois Backmann, her grandson Matthew (Brandi) Backmann, as well as her two great grandchildren Dominik, and Natalie. Evelyn was preceded in death by her son in law Ronald Backmann, and her two brothers Clarence (Dorothy) Minten, and Earl (Myrtle) Minten.

Donald J. Minten, 82, Town of Lawrence, died Tuesday August 5, 2014, peacefully at home in the presence of family, after a short illness. He was born August 22, 1931 to
George and Margaret Minten. Don joined the Army in October of 1954, and was honorably discharged in October of 1956. He was a member of the Wrightstown Legion Post 436.
Don married Jean Kafka of Denmark on July 20, 1957. They spent the next 57 years living in the Town of Lawrence, operating a dairy farm, and raising their family.
Don served as Town Supervisor for 21 years, and was a volunteer fire fighter for 16 yrs.
Don enjoyed dancing, visiting with his friends and family, sharing stories, laughing, and relaxing at home. He was also known for smoking his pipe, and, if things didn't go his way, there would surely be two smoke stacks coming from his tractor. He was a hardworking man who was dedicated to his family and will truly be missed.
Don is survived by his wife Jean (Kafka) Minten, sons Daniel Minten (Friend Debra
Brace), Town of Lawrence, Dale (Robbi) Minten, De Pere, and Kurt Minten, Town of
Lawrence, daughters Lori (Jim) Verheyden, Bellevue, Kristine Minten, Houston Texas,

Marlin "Darky" Ambrosius, 79, De Pere, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born on May 2, 1937 to the late Louis and Marie (Minten) Ambrosius in Wrightstown. After graduating from Wrightstown High School in 1955, Marlin served his country in the United States Army from 1955-1957. After his return from Germany, he married Marilyn Vander Bloomen on June 3, 1958 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, De Pere. Marlin was a truck driver for over 40 years, logging over 5 million miles with an excellent driving record. He was awarded and commended "Driver of the Month", December 1993 for the State of Wisconsin. After his retirement, Marlin drove tour bus for Lamers. Throughout his life, Marlin enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, golfing and traveling. He was an avid Brewers and Packers fan, attending many games with family and friends. Marlin loved reading, politics, history and making people laugh. Marlin's greatest passion was attending his grandchildren's activities.

Phyllis A. Schneider, 72, of the Town of Taycheedah, died Monday, December 20, 2010, at her residence. She was born July 2, 1938, in Green Bay, the daughter of Bernard and Agnes Mitten VanEnkenvort. On October 4, 1958, she married William F. Schneider in West DePere after which she and her husband moved to Fond du Lac. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Peter Church. Phyllis was formerly employed by Mercury Marine in the manufacturing division for 25 years, retiring in 2006. Phyllis enjoyed traveling, snowmobiling, and attending her grandchildren's sports activities. Surviving is her husband, Bill, two sons, William J. (JoAnn) Schneider of Malone, and Wayne (Laura) Schneider of Fond du Lac, a daughter, Vicki Freund of Johnsburg, and seven grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Sue Van Enkenvort of DePere, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Jack Van Enkenvort, 65, De Pere passed away on Saturday August 21, 2010 surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 26, 1944 to the late Bernard and Agnes (Minten) Van Enkenvort. On April 15, 1983 he married Sue Malliet. Jack was a graduate of West De Pere High School. He was a veteran of the United Stated Army. He was instrumental in the De Pere Little League program for over 45 years. While serving as President of the Little League program Jack over saw a lot of improvements to it with the help of many. Jack retired from the De Pere Fire Department after 28 years of service. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and being with his children and grandchildren. Jack liked getting together with friends for breakfast at the Nicolet Restaurant. Jack is survived by his wife Sue, his children; Kim (Ryan) Metzner, Michelle Pigeon, Lisa (Butch) Smits, Patrick Van Enkenvort, and Beth Van Enkenvort. ROCHESTER -- A Mass of Christian burial for Sister Dorothy Verkuilen will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes, Assisi Heights, Rochester.
Sister Dorothy Verkuilen (Sister Armand), 87, a Franciscan Sister of the Congregation of Our Lady of Lourdes, Rochester, died Saturday (March 28, 2009).
Dorothy Florence Verkuilen was born on Feb. 13, 1922, in Kimberly Wis. After working for five years, she attended the College of Saint Teresa in Winona, where she graduated in 1949 with a bachelor's degree in social sciences. Following graduation, she worked five years with Catholic Charities in the Diocese of Green Bay, Wis., before entering the Sisters of Saint Francis in 1954, making vows in 1956.
Sister Dorothy's 41 years of ministry as a Franciscan sister began as a teacher: two years at Saint Augustine's School in Austin, and one year at Notre Dame High School in Portsmouth, Ohio. Sister Dorothy had various positions at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester: business coordinator (1959-1971), office manager of systems and procedures (1971-1973) and assistant to the director of finance (1975-1978). In 1973, she pursued studies at the University of New Mexico, where she received a master's in business administration in 1975.
Sister Dorothy received a license in nursing home administration in 1980 and served as administrator at Saint Anne Hospice in Winona from 1980 to 1987. Her years of ministry also included business office coordinator for the Diocese of Tucson, Ariz., and secretary/vice principal at St. Mary-Basha Catholic School in Chandler, Ariz.
In 1990, Sister Dorothy moved to Assisi Heights, where she served as secretary to the business office until her retirement in 1997. She has been described as a faithful and good friend who always lived the Franciscan values and gave willingly of her time for others.
Sister Dorothy is survived by a brother, Donald Verkuilen of Myrtle Beach, S. C.; and several nieces. She will long be remembered by the Sisters of Saint Francis, with whom she shared life for 55 years.
Friends may call at Assisi Heights for the vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday and before the time of the service on Friday.
