    Obituary:
Appleton - Mildred Regina Schuh (nee' Mayer), 88, died peacefully on Saturday March 24, 2018 at Heartwood Homes, Appleton. She was born in Kiel on Monday March 10, 1930, twin daughter of the late Christian and Mary (nee' Wick) Mayer.
Millie graduated from Kiel High School in 1948. She especially liked English class and working in the school library. After graduation, Millie moved to Appleton with her older sister, Madonna. She met Arthur Schuh, and they were united in marriage on November 27, 1952 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Appleton. Arthur and Millie celebrated 62 years together before his death on March 26, 2015.
Millie was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and the Altar Society, and the Appleton Homemakers Club. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, which she always shared with her family and neighbors. Millie loved to bake her "famous" banana and pistachio breads. She was an avid reader, especially mystery novels. Millie enjoyed crossword puzzles, music, and singing, she could always be heard singing while she was cleaning her house or in the garden. Millie's greatest enjoyment came from time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, all of whom she was very proud of. She kept a scrap book of all their accomplishments and she attended every school event.
Millie is survived by her three children: Arthur (Cheryl) Schuh, Iron River, and their son Dr. Michael Schuh, Neenah; Diane (Paul) Boucher, Appleton, and their two daughters: Amanda Boucher, Milwaukee and Abby Boucher, Appleton; and Thomas (Stephanie Blackbourn) Schuh, Appleton, and their two daughters: Roxanna and Hazel Schuh, Appleton; Millie is also survived by a sister in-law, Willowdeen Mayer, Germantown; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, neighbors and friends. She was further preceded in death by her seven siblings, including her twin sister Marion "Petie" Christel.

James Lucas and Monsignor John Schuh con-celebrating. Visitation will be held at the church Wednesday morning from 9:00until 10:45 AM with Mass to follow at 11:00 AM. Entombment will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum at Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N Richmond Street, Appleton.
