  Family History Researcher	From Family researcher Duane Lamers; Jacob Lamers died in a nursing ho me in Menasha, Winnebago County six weeks after being admitted. Nellie died at St. E's in Appleton where she had been admitted days earlier. There home had been on Willow Street in Kimberly, where they had moved in August 1946 from the family farm which is now the Kuborn (sp) subdivision east of Kimberly Ave. and south of Railroad St. The house still stands in the sub, some feet from its original location.Grandpa Lamers (Jacob) had always been thought by his kids to have been the eldest of his family. By 1995 I found that was not so; he had an older sister Margaret who lived to about 17. This may explain Jacob's naming his firstborn Margaret, but none ever knew this. Can't find her place at St. John's, either, although the church records give us her birth and death.
