- Tews, Lorraine C. Pitsch Tews, of Neenah, Age 74, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born July 9, 1927 in Fond du Lac, daughter of Peter and Cecelia (Pritzl) Pitsch. Lorraine married George E. Tews, June 21, 1947, in Neenah. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah. She had many hobbies, including reading, sewing, painting, fishing and gardening. Lorraine is survived by her husband, George; her daughter Linda (Michael) Van Lieshout, Neenah; two brothers; Arthur (Judy) Pitsch, Oshkosh; Donald (Debbie) Hilbert; three sisters, Rose Schafer Ertl, Germain (Tom) Jape, Donna (Duane) Westfahl, all of Neenah; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tews was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Sherri Van Lieshout; two sisters, Pauline Remme and Sister Joan Pitsch; two brothers, Kenneth and Dennis Pitsch. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at St. Gabriel Church with Rev. Richard Allen officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Friends may call at the Kessler Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and at the church from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of mass. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Lorraine's family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Hendricks, the Theda Clark neurology team and Dr. Baltz for their loving care and tenderness.
