  Pfotenhauer, Gladys Gladys Pfotenhauer, age 97, Green Bay, passed away Thursday evening, April 5, 2007. Gladys was born November 29, 1909, to the late John and Dora (Allers) Toonen. She married Harold Pfotenhauer on June 11, 1932, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, De Pere, and he preceded her in death on December 4, 1993. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral and its Ladies Society. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her much joy. She was a great advocate of their lives. Survivors include her two daughters, Bonnie and Dr. Bob Kaftan, De Pere; and Jane Poels, Green Bay; grandchildren, Matthew (Jayne) Kaftan, De Pere; Dr. Greg (Giordana) Kaftan, Milwaukee; Fritz (Amy) Kaftan, West Bend; Jeff (Julie) Kaftan, Green Bay; Dr. Hal (Juli) Kaftan, Omaha, NE; Dr. Rob (Jane) Kaftan, Sandusky, OH; John (Rose) Poels, Madison; and Jennifer (Ted) Balthazor, Green Bay; 24 great-grandchildren; a brother, John Toonen, Milwaukee; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceeded in death by a son-in-law Jack Poels. Family and friends may call at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, 139 S. Madison Green Bay from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2007. Mass of C
