Hope you have your computer fixed by now. I'll give you some information that I have.
Matthias Peters who is my Great Great Grandfather arrived in the United States on
June 23, 1868 via Glasgow & Moville to New York. The ship was STR. CALDONIA
The following people were aboard.
Mathias Peters, 43, farmer
Cath. Peters 43, wife (2nd wife) maiden name Wendels - ist wife Elizabeth Jaspers who had
apparently died
Wilhelmine Peters 38 listed as help - was his sister
Theodora Peters 70 listed as help - was his mother
Johan 13, male
Johana 11, female
Johan or Bohan 9, female
Theodor 7, male
Petronella 6, female
I have information on them in the states, but nothing in Germany. Also after Wilhelmina left
the boat, I don't know if she ended up with them in Calumet Co. or not. Do you have anything
on her? Gerhard Peters came over in 1858, and is Mathias' brother. I have information on
his family as well.
Most of the people you sent I have something on, except two who had the different spelling of
Peters.

first married an Elisabeth Jaspers who is the mother of all the children. She died before 1868 is all
I know. His second wife was Catherine Wendel who was born in Holland
The children were
Johanna Mary Peters born Jan. 1855 in Keppel Germany (I got this from her one marriage certificate
I was able to obtain) That is also where I got her mothers name.
She died 1905 in Marinette, Wisconsin
She married a Cornelius DeWitt unknown when, but her second husband she married in 1874 in
Brown County. on October 4th. That was Andries Engels (or Andrew)
She then married a Oliver King (unknown when or where he died) Unknown when married
Then in 1895 she married a John Dixon (unknown where or when married
Gertrude Peterswas born 1856 Prussia - All I have on her
Johan Peters born January 24, 1859 in Prussia
Married Mary Emmers
John died April 30, 1933 in Brillion, Calumet, Wisconsin
Theodore Peters born 1861 in Germany - have nothing additional on him.
Petronella Peters (went by Nellie) born August 16, 1862 in Germany
Died July 21, 1932 in Marinette Wisconsin
Married first to George Vanderfin (Don't know when or where)
2nd husband John Arts who she married April 21, 1890 in the Catholic Church in Marinette Wis.
I have contacted the Cofrin library in Green Bay and the Catholic Diocese in Green Bay. That is where I got the one marriage for Johanna my great grandmother. They could find nothing of her
marriage to Cornelius DeWitt, when he died, etc.
I'll send you what I have on John the son under another e-mail. Anything you could fill in would
be appreciated.
