age 85 died Sunday, December 21, 2003. She was born March 4, 1918, in Little Chute daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Vosters) Stielow. In January of 1936, Phyllis married Raymond Vander Bloemen at St. John's Catholic Church in Little Chute. The couple enjoyed 50 years of marriage prior to his death in 1986. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom.
Survivors include her children; Raymond (Gertie), Corpus Christi, TX; Dick (Barb), Greenleaf; Diane Holz, Neenah, Marilyn (Bob) Munes, Kaukauna; Karen (Bob) Andrews, Peoria, AZ; Sue (Butch) Vandenberg, Freedom; and a daughter-in-law, Pat Vander Bloemen, 22 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a great grandchild. She is further survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Jane (Paul) Rendelson, Red Banks, New Jersy.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, a son Dennis, a grandson, Rob Munes and a son-in-law, Wayne.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom with Fr. Dennis Ryan officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family with arrangements.
