- Mrs. Minnie Gutenberger, 91, of f 3615 N. 15th St., widow of Herman F., died Tuesday evening at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Gilman Wunsch, where she had been living for six years.
She was born May 30, 1882, in the Town of Mosel, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Roehl, and attended public school in Mosel. She was confirmed in St. Mark Reformed Church, and was a member of St. Paul Reformed Church, Mosel, and its Ladies Aid Society. In 1962, she joined Zion United Church of Christ in Sheboygan.
On Dec. 29, 1906, she was married to Mr. Gutenberger in Mosel. The couple operated a farm in Mosel until 1941, when they retired. He died April 16, 1956.
Surviving are a son, Ruben of Plymouth; the daughter, Mrs. Wunsch (Marcella); four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Jennie Gutknecht of Sheboygan, Mrs. Elva Erbstoeszer of Haven and Mrs. Helen Jaehnig of Cleveland. She was preceded by a son, two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Zion Church, with the Rev. George Mohr, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. Thursday until 13 a.m. Friday at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapels, and then at the church from noon until time of services. A memorial fund is being established in Mrs. Gutenberger's name for Zion Church.
