  Frank Block 74, route 3. Kaukauna. died at his home at 7:15 last night after a lingering illness. Born in Milwaukee, he moved to the town of Harrison when he was eight years old and lived there on a farm all his life. He was a member of the St. Joseph and Holy Name societies of the Holy Angels Catholic church of Darboy. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 Tuesday morning at the Holy Angels church with the Rev. Emil Schnitz in charge. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The St. Joseph and Holy Name societies of the church will recite the rosary at 8 o'clock tonight at the home. Appleton Post-Crescent | Appleton, Wisconsin | Monday, September 27, 1937 | Page 7 Services Conducted For Frank Block, 74 Darboy - Funeral services for Frank Block, 74. who died at his home here at 7:15 Saturday evening after a lingering illness, were conducted at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at the home and at 9:30 at Holy Angels church by the Rev. E. .J. Schmit. Burial was in the parish cemetery- Born in Germany, Mr. Block came to Milwaukee at the age of four years living there for some time. Later he was a resident of the town of Harrison, moving to the town of Buchanan 39 years ago. Survivors are the widow, one son. Joseph, at home: three daughters. Miss Christian Deer. Appleton. Mrs. William Budke. Lake Elmo. Minn.. and Mrs. John Emmers. route 5. Kaukauna. Mr. Block was a member of the St Joseph society of Holy Angels parish, members of which escorted the body. Bearers were Henry Kauer. Adolph Stumpf. Joseph Lo- derbauer. Jacob Hank, George Emmers and William Emmers. Honorary' bearers, members of St Joseph society, were: John Hoelzel Frank Dietzen, August Quell, William Kamske. Anton Simon and Henry Jochman.
