  Joseph O'Connell age 51 died of injuries received in the Fond du Lac RR ya rds was buried Tuesday at St. Marys in the family plot. Mr O'Connel w as a resident of this city for 20 years, employed as a painter at Ashla nd Division shops and recently had been car inspector for North Western Ra ilway died Saturday night. Mr O'Connell commenced quite young helping t he government quarry on the Gringnon Flats. He afterward helped build Kauk uana water Power canal while Ledyard was a village and also assisting in t he building of the Mead and Edwards water power and Old Union pulp mill. S urvived by mother, Mrs John O'Connell and brothers and sisters, John W, Ge orge, Michael and Mrs Thomas Femal Mrs Michael Reilly of Appleton, Andr ew of Kaukauna, Daniel of Shawano and Mrs Ira Batey of Neenah and Mrs Ma ry Gibson of Oshkosh.
