- Myra M. Wolf Manawa Age 86, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah following a brief illness. She was born June 21, 1914 in Embarrass, daughter of the late Emil and Laura (Zahn) Gehrt. On October 30, 1937 she married Clarence Wolf at Zion Lutheran Church in Embarrass.
He preceded her in death June 19, 1975. Following their marriage they lived in Clintonville for six years. They purchased a farm in the Town of Union in 1943 and lived there until moving to Symco in 1965. The past two years Myra lived in Manawa. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Symco and was active in the Ladies Aid, LWML and the Altar Guild for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Symco Homemakers Club for 35 years and a member of the Manawa Senior Citizens. She is survived by a sister, Myrene Volz, Neenah; three nephews: Larry (Cindy) Volz, Green Bay; Lyndle (Kay) Volz, Stuart, Florida; Emil (Vonnie) Kriewaldt, Mundelein, Illinois; Eileen Kriewaldt, Colorado; a brother-in-law, Leonard (Verna) Wolf, Shawano; a niece, Diana Schauder, Green Bay; other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, a sister, Ethel preceded her in death. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2001 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, Symco with Rev. Jeffrey Smiles officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Symco. Friends may call at the Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home in Manawa from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of the service. A memorial has been established for St. Mark's Lutheran Church.
