  Cornelius VanderSanden, "C asey" 602 Johnson court, Little Chute, age 67, died at 6:10 p.m. Tuesd ay September 28th, 1993 peacefully with his family at his side. He was bo rn September 2nd, 1926 in Little Chute, the son of the late John and Ma ry (Hermus) Vandersanden. Casey had served with the U.S. Army during Wor ld War Two. He had been employed by the Kimberly Paper Mill for four year s, retiring in 1988. He was an avid card player especially enjoyed spendi ng time with his family and friends. He was a lifetime member of St. Jo hn Catholic Church and the American Legion Post 258, Little Chute. Surviv ors include his wife for 45 years, Betty Hietpas VanderSanden; three so ns and daughters in law: Dan and Sheila, of Franklin, Jim and Ann, of Litt le Chute, Lee and Mary, of Kaukauna, two daughters and sons in law, Dia ne and Wayne Dorn, of Kaukauna, Becky and Ray Hietpas, of Little Chut e, 15 grandchildren; Ben, Adam and Laura VanderSanden; Kari, Katie and Kev in Dorn; Jill, Ryan, Jimmy and Scott VanderSarnden; Emily, Jenny and Hila ry VanderSanden, Abby and Ashley Hietpas, two sisters and brothers in la w, Pat Schuh of Kaukauna, Margaret "Mutz" and Don La Brec, Little Chut e, a brother, John VanderSanden, of Pearson. He is further survived by h is wife's family mother in law, Margaret Hietpas Pennings, Art and Irene H ietpas, of Appleton, Paul and Ethel Hietpas, of Coleman, Owen and Irene Hi etpas, of Florida, Mark Hietpas and friend Betty, of Kaukauna, a special b uddy and brother in law, Dennis Hietpas, of Kaukauna, Pat Tatro, of Applet on and Margie Hietpas, of Kaukauna, brothers in law Norbert Mischler, Bi ll Mattern, and sister in law Yvonne Hietpas. He was preceded in dea th by his parents, John and Mary VanderSanden; a grandson Robbie VanderSar nden; sister Jane Mischler, Nellie VanderSarnden; father-in-law, Willi am P. Hietpas and William Pennings, brothers in law Henry (Bud) Tatro, Bi ll Hietpas, Ted Larson, Harry Schuh, sisters in law Bernice Larson and Shi rley Mattern. Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Thursday from the St. Jo hn Catholic Church with Reverend John Doerfler officiating. Internment wi ll be in the parish cemetery.
