  Neumann, Herbert A. Herb Neumann, 87, Menasha, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, Dec. 6, 2008, at Brewster Village in Appleton. Herb was born on Aug. 25, 1921, on a farm in the Town of Winchester. He married Lois Behnke on May 29, 1948, and they were blessed with three daughters, Vicki, Connie and Julie. Herb was employed by Gilbert Paper Company for 27 years. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Herb enjoyed many outdoor activities and dancing with Lois. Herb is survived by his loving wife, Lois; daughters, Vicki (Jim) Buchman, Connie (Terry) Anklam, Julie (Peter) Klein; grandchildren, Mathew (Nell) Buchman, Jennifer (Michael) Heisler, Keri (Mark) Otte, Jessica (Matthew) Anderson, Laura Klein; and his four great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Herb will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, with the Rev. Catherine A.K. Mode officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at the Westgor Funeral Home in Neenah, 205 W. Doty Ave., from 5 to 7 p.m. and again on Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, Herb's family has established a memorial fund in Herb's name. Lois, Vicki, Connie and Julie would like to express their sincere gratitude and respect to all the staff members of The Manor at Brewster Village, who took such wonderful care of Dad.
