  New London - Margaret Edminster, age 94, of New London, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018. Margaret was born on September 20, 1923 to the late Arthur and Laura (Miller) Tessen Sr. in the Town of Little Wolf in Waupaca County. She attended grade school and high school in Manawa. Margaret worked as a maid in Neenah and Appleton before working at Sturms in Manawa. She then went on to work in New London at Plywood. She was untied in marriage to George Edminster Jr. in 1943. He preceded her in death in 1977. They had their son Ted Edminster in 1944. Margaret later worked at Edison, Bolenske Printing and The Rainbow Motel. Margaret is survived by grandchildren, other relatives and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband; son, Ted; parents; brothers, Carl and Herman; sisters-in-law, Rosyln Tessen and Wilma Edminster and special friend, Speed Dobberstein. The funeral for Margaret will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Rev. Mark Tiefel will be officiating. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Floral Hill Cemetery in New London. Published in Appleton Post-Crescent on Apr. 7, 2018
