  Norbert "Tom" Schabo, Appleton, age 71. Tom's gentle and hardworking hands have been laid to rest. He left this world for a much better one on Wednesday, February 19, 2014. He was born on March 7, 1942, the son of the late George Sr. and Leona (Ellenbecker) Schabo. Tom married Linda Van Linn on October 8, 1969 in Appleton. He was a long-time employee of H.E. Wendtlandt. Tom is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda; daughter Beth (Bob) Madson, Hudson; grandchildren: Kristen (Travis) Featherly and Andy Tuchscherer; and great grandson Mateo Featherly. He is also survived by his siblings: George Jr. (Mary Lee) Schabo, Marlene Miller and Judy Styer; Linda's siblings: Sandy (Gene) Vande Hey and John Van Linn; sisters-in-law: Delaine and Rita Van Linn; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brothers, Wally and Gary Schabo; Linda's parents, Edward and Adriana Van Linn; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Glady (Joe) Biesterveld, Edward, William and Robert Van Linn, Elaine Honick and Mary Jane Wendel. Visitation will be held Monday February 24, 2014 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 3:00 p.m. until time of Funeral at 5:30 p.m. The Rev.
