  Vanden Boogart, Lawrence J.Lawrence J. Vanden Boogart, "Larry", of Oshkosh, age 91, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2005. Larry was born September 5, 1913 in Little Chute and married Lucille Welch in 1938. They were proud parents of four daughters and two sons. They lived in Little Chute until Lucille passed away in 1951. Larry never remarried, he had a loving relationship with Evie, his companion and dear friend for thirty years. Larry enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his "3 wheel bicycle" which he called his "Cadillac".He is survived by his children: Carol Nelson (Richard), David Vanden Boogart, Barbara Zielinski (Andrew), Judy Faubel, Alice VanHorn (Allan) and David Thurner (Deborah). Also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Larry was a jovial and fun "Loving guy" and will be missed by family and friends. His family wishes to give a "Heartfelt Thank you" to the staff at Parkview and Jim Decker who treated Larry with respect and love and shared a " special bond" with him, always patient and kind.The family feels Larry has gone on to bigger and better things to rekind le his love with his wife Lucille, waiting for him with open arms and a smile as beautiful as the first day they met and fell in love. She has patiently been waiting and will say to him, Larry, what took you so long?A memorial service for Larry will be held on Saturday July 23, 2005 at 3 p .m. at the Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee St. Menasha. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon fr om 2 p.m. until the hour of the service. Laemmrich Funeral Home& Cremation Services
