- Paul L. Meulemans, Kaukauna, age 28, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Augu st 18, 2004 as the result of a motorcycle accident. Paul was born in Kauka una on January 15, 1976, son of the late Vernon Meulemans and Virgie (Kill ian) Meulemans of Kaukauna. A 1994 graduate of Kaukauna High School, Pa ul had worked for several years for Warehouse Specialists in Neenah. For a bout the last year, he had been driving truck for Ferrell Gas. Everyone wi ll remember Paul for his love of skiing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, atten ding auto shows, and especially for working on his classic cars. Paul h ad a true zest for life, and always had a positive outlook at attitude. H is nieces and nephews were a source of great fun and enjoyment to him ov er the years they will all miss him very much.
Other survivors include his mother, Virgie Meulemans of Kaukauna; his fian ce: Betsy Sprister of Kaukauna; three sisters: Joan (Dan) Hietpas of Mackv ille; Ann (Henry) Heiman of Kaukauna and their children Emily, Jacob, a nd Erin; Mary (Jeff) Girard of Black Creek and their children Matthew, Nic holas, and Alex; four brothers: Peter (Julie) Meulemans of Kaukauna and th eir children Adam and Rachel; John (Pat) Meulemans of Kaukauna and their c hildren Michelle, Curt, and Becky; Joe (Sandy) Meulemans of Appleton and t heir children Taylor and Evan; Jim (Deb) Meulemans of Kaukauna and their c hildren Robyn, Sarah, Dawn, and Justin. Paul is further survived by numero us aunts, uncles, other relatives, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Meulemans in 1991.
The funeral liturgy for Paul will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 2 3, 2004 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 119 W. Seventh Street in Kaukauna wi th Fr. Robert Udulutsch, OFM, Cap. and Fr. David Schmidt officiating. Inte rment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral ho me on Sunday from 4 8 p.m. and again Monday at the church from 9:30 a. m. until the hour of the service. There will be a parish prayer and script ure service at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
