  Walker, Carol JeanCarol Jean Walker, 72, Little Chute, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Ja n. 22, 2005, at Appleton Medical Center. She was born March 26, 1932, in L ittle Chute, daughter of George and Agnes (Williamson) VanderVelden. Car ol Jean married Dean Earl Walker Aug. 23, 1996, at St. John Nepomucene Cat holic Church, Little Chute. She was employed as a waitress at Tuckers Rest aurant and the Coffee Shop, both Little Chute and Kuster's Frozen Custar d. She was a volunteer with the American Heart Association. Carol Jean w as an avid dart and pool player and she enjoyed golf and camping. She h ad a friendly and wonderful sense of humor and she was known and lov ed by all including her friends at Geano Beach, Little Suamico.Carol Jean is survived by her husband, Dean Earl Walker; a special frie nd of Dean and Carol's, Kim (Tom) Tisdale, Little Chute; her son, Gene (Ju dy) Koehnke, Cecil; four grandchildren, Holly (Frank) Van Zeeland, Misty ( Jeff) Verhagen and Tracy Koehnke, all of Kaukauna; Stacy Koehnke, Appleto n; three step-grandchildren: Andy (Sherry) Ebert, De Pere; Robbie (Renz a) Ebert, Embarrass; Christopher (Ann) Ebert, Shawano; five great-grandchi ldren, Brandon Lamers, Allyson and Chloe Van Zeeland, Samantha and Nico le Verhagen, all of Kaukauna; three step-great-grandchildren, Richard a nd Reef Ebert, both of Embarrass; and Evan Ebert, Shawano; two brothers a nd a sister, Marvin (Margaret) VanderVelden, Little Chute; Joyce (Al) Dieda, Long Beach, CA; Dennis (Gail) VanderVelden, Little Chute; five brothers -in-law, David Jr. (Roxanne) Walker, Palmdale, CA; Dennis Walker, Las Vega s; Craig (Mary) Broback, Denver, CO; Danny Walker, Denver, CO; Dale (An n) Walker, Hortonville; her step-children that she loved; nieces, nephew s, aunts and uncles.Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at the V erkuilen Funeral Home with Deacon Vin DeGroot officiating. Interment wi ll be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the funer al home from 1 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the service. A memorial h as been established.The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff at Applet on Medical Center for the care and compassion given to Carol Jean.
