AppletonAge 86, entered into eternal life May 11, 2002. he was born February 16, 1 916 in Appleton, son of the late Joseph and Anna (Renn) Grishaber. Joe mar ried Eunice Emmers June 6, 1942 at Holy Angels Parish, Darboy, and Euni ce preceded him in death February 12, 1997 having shared 54 wonderful yea rs together. He and Eunice owned and operated Joe and Eunie's Tavern. He s erved his country in World War II as a Staff Sergeant in the Army Air Co rp for 3 years. He was a charter member of St. Bernadette Catholic Churc h, Appleton, American Legion Post #38 and a lifetime member of the DAV-Dis abled American Veterans. He is survived by: his only daughter and son-in-l aw: Mary Ann and H. James Uhlenbrauck, Appleton;three sons and two daughte rs-in-law: Joseph D. (J. D.) and Pamela Grishaber, Appleton; Henry (Han k) and Karen Grishaber, Appleton; his pride and joy Frank Grishaber, Apple ton and his 11 loving grandchildren: Gina (Matt) Sobczak; JoAnna Uhlenbrau ck; Janel (Jason) Wachtendonk; Vanessa (Mike) Nackers; Joseph Grishaber IV ;Therese Grishaber; Jude Grishaber; Henry Grishaber II (Opie); Jonathon Gr ishaber; identical twins Peggy and Maggie Grishaber; great grandchildre n: Jacob Nackers and Justin Wachtendonk; a sister: Inez Stark, Darboy; a b rother Norbert Grishaber, Appleton; sister-in-law: Lorraine Grishaber, App leton; brother-in-law Henry and Middy Emmers, Jr; three sisters-in-law: Ma rion Horn, Appleton; Lorraine (Honey) Schwalbach, Little Chute; Helen Emme rs, Appleton; Special caring and visiting friends: Rollie, Dr. Van, Carl a nd special relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his ever-lovi ng wife Eunice, saintly son Jude, four brothers: Matthew, Louis, Edward a nd Ervin; four sisters-in-law: Othy Grishaber, Louise Grishaber, Olive Gri shaber and Margaret Grishaber and a brother-in-law, Walter Stark. Ma ss of the Resurrection will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2002 at S t. Bernadette Catholic Church with the Rev. Harold Berryman officiating. B urial will take place at Holy Angles Cemetery, Darboy. Friends may call di rectly at the church on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of servic e. The Joe and Eunice Memorial Fund has been established for St. Bernadet te Catholic Church.
