    Obituary:
    Sandra VanderLinden, 66, Greenleaf, passed away Thursday morning, May 24, 2007, at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Sandy bravely battled 3 occurrences of cancer over the last 11 years. She was born in Green Bay to the late Gordon and Helen (VanEss) DeBroux on April 10, 1941. She married her beloved husband, Gerald VanderLinden on November 21, 1959, he preceded her in death on July 18, 2004. Jerry and Sandy ran the family dairy farm until selling it in 2000. One of her most treasured jobs was baby-sitting for her grandchildren. They received the best love and care that only a grandmother could provide. Sandy was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished the family gathering.
    Sandy is survived by her three children; Veronica VanderLinden, Christopher (Terri) VanderLinden, both of Greenleaf; Shari VanderLinden, Kaukauna and her special friend, Kevin Micke; nine grandchildren: Tyler Kratz, Michael VanderLinden, Matthew, Sarah and Christine VanderLinden, and Leann, Jerry, Ralph, and Dawn Geiger; a sister, Sharon (Norbert) VanderLinden; a brother, James DeBroux. She is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Grace Calaway, Don and Donna VanderLinden; Carl and Ann VanderLinden; Mary and Dick Rottier; Richard and Julaine VanderLinden; Roger and Jeanne VanderLinden; Rose Kramer.
    Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers-in-law: Ken VanderLinden; Joe Kramer and Pete Calaway.
    Family and friends may call at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Road R, Denmark on Sunday, May 27, 2007 from 4 to 8 p.m. Wake service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Glenmore, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at the church with the Rev. Lee Kahrs officiating. Interment will be at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.
    The family wishes to thank Dr. Blank, Green Bay Oncology, and 4th floor nursing staff at Bellin Hospital, especially Heather. Also thanks to Shari, Sharon and Unity Hospice for making it possible to grant Sandy's wish of being home during her final days on earth. Your care and concern during this difficult time will never be forgotten.
