Obituary:
Rose A. Seyfert, age 96, passed away at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna on Thursday, September 16, 2010. She was born in Kaukauna on July 13, 1914, the daughter of the late Joseph and Adelaide (Lorrig) Melchiors. In 1935, she married Arnold Seyfert in Oconto Falls. Rose will be remembered for playing and teaching organ and piano, her love of playing cards, and being a wonderful homemaker.
Rose is survived by her son, David Seyfert of Boyceville, WI; and three grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnie; daughter, Mary Hinchley; and 12 brothers and sisters.
The memorial mass will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2010, at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH, St. Mary's site, 119 W. Seventh St., Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Friends will be received at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff at St. Paul Home for their wonderful care.
