Obituary:
Joyce Anne LaBerge, 90, of Lapeer, MI, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013. She was born February 5, 1923, in Appleton, WI, to parents William and Harriet (VanRoy) Timmers. Joyce married Robert W. LaBerge on July 3, 1946 in Appleton.
Mrs. LaBerge was a woman of faith; she enjoyed Bible studies, prayer meetings as well as cross-stitching, reading, square dancing and camping. Joyce volunteered for Meals on Wheels and FISH.
She is survived by her children, Cathleen (Dan) Preston of Mt. Juliet, TN; Tom (Patty) LaBerge of Cross Plains, TN; Ellen (John) Cerami of Landsdale, PA; Christopher (Carolyn) LaBerge of Mansfield, TX; and Mark (JoAnn) LaBerge of Lapeer, MI; grandchildren, Karen, Tommy, Rhonda, Daniel, Phillip, Robert, Brooke, Kyle, Kobi, Jereme, Andrew, Jacob; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Coby, Kaylee, Broden, Isiah, Caden, Owen and Gavin. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1994; daughter, Mary LaBerge and brother, Bob Timmers.
Services were held Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer, MI, www.muirbrotherslapeer.com. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Lake Orion, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the prison ministry program of your choice.
