    Biography:
    FRANK DEIMER, for more than sixteen years an esteemed resident of Greenville township, Outagamie county, where he ranks among the prosperous self-made agriculturists, is a native of Appleton, Wisconsin, born May 17, 1874, a son of Joseph and Anna (Becker) Deimer, natives of Bohemia, Austria-Hungary. Joseph Deimer learned the trade of carpenter early in life, and came to the United States as a young man. It is believed that he spent some time in Milwaukee, and then removed to Seymour, eventually going to Appleton where he met his death in a mill accident. Frank Deimer does not remember ever having seen his father. His mother later married Conrad Kreitzberg and now resides in Appleton. There were four children born to Joseph and Anna Deimer, namely: Mary, who married George Schmidt, a resident of Greenville township; Anna, the wife of Joseph Moder, of Dale township; Frank; and Josephine, who married Sebastian Griesbach. Mr. and Mrs. Kreitzberg had two children: Henry, a farmer of Ellington township; and Theodore, who is deceased. Frank Deimer received a somewhat limited education in the district schools of Ellington township, and early in life began to work as a farm hand. He was economical and thrifty, and when only twenty-one years old had accumulated enough means to invest in a forty-acre farm in Greenville township, on which he operated for ten years. At the end of this time he purchased his present farm, an excellent tract of 120 acres, and here he carries on general and dairy farming, and raises some live stock for his own use. Mr. Deimer has been a hard worker from boyhood, and from a start of nothing has accumulated a comfortable property. He has never speculated, and his success shows what it is possible for a man to accomplish by honesty and perseverance and a determination to win. He is a Democrat in politics, and is a consistent member of the Roman Catholic Church. On May 18, 1897, Mr. Deimer was married to Theresa Bauer, born in Grand Chute township, February 24, 1873, the estimable daughter of Andrew Bauer. Mr. and Mrs. Deimer have had eight children, born as follows: Mary, January 15, 1898; Conrad, August 6, 1899; Joseph, March 29, 1901; Georgie, December 29, 1902; Eleanora, March 29, 1904, died May 14, 1905; Rosie, born April 22, 1906; Hildegard, January 29, 1908; and Isabella, March 10, 1911. Mr. Deimer holds membership in the Catholic Knights, in which he is very popular.

    Biography:
    HENRY KREUTZBERG, who is successfully operating a general and dairy farm in Ellington township, has been a lifelong resident of this district, and was born on his father's farm, a son of Conrad and Anna (Baker) Kreutzberg. Conrad Kreutzberg was born in Germany and came to the United States when he was eighteen or nineteen years of age, locating in Greenville township and working for the farmers there by the month for two years. He then came to Ellington township and purchased land, but after three or four years he sold that property and purchased the one now owned by Henry Kreutzberg. At that time there had been made but few improvements on this place, but Conrad Kreutzberg remodeled the house and erected large new barns, also bringing his land to a high state of cultivation. In 1861 he married Barbara Fischer, and. she died in 1876, having been the mother of three children. In 1878 Mr. Kreutzberg married Anna Baker, daughter of Peter Baker, and they had two children, and now reside in Appleton, retired. Henry Kreutzberg's brother, Theodore, died at the age of fourteen years. Henry Kreutzberg received his education in the district schools of Greenville township and the Catholic schools, and was reared to the life of an agriculturist, always remaining on his father's farm, which he purchased in 1905, after having rented it for two years. He carries on farming along general lines, and has made a decided success of his ventures. In 1900 Mr. Kreutzberg was married to Katherine Bauer, who was born in 1878, daughter of Andrew and Katherine Bauer, natives of Grand Chute township, Outagamie county, and to this union there have been born six children: Mary, Asalla, Conrad, Monica, Theodore and Clarence. The family is connected with the Catholic Church at Greenville. In politics Mr. Kreutzberg is identified with the Democratic party, but claims the right to vote independently and to use his own judgment in casting his vote.

    Dorothy A. Frahm, 94, died peacefully at home February 27. Our mother was born April 19, 1916, to Henry & Katherine (Bauer) Kreutzberg. Mom married the love of her life, Edward, on June 29, 1938, and they enjoyed 67 years together. Dad and his "Annie" farmed and raised a family of six children: Sister Michaeleen (Joan) Frahm, CSA, Berlin; Myra and Jerry Pritzl; Kermit Frahm; LeRoy and Rose Frahm; Jacinta "Cindy" and Gene Clark; Carol Frahm. Mom enjoyed her grandchildren: Brian and MaryBeth Pritzl, Mark and Lori Pritzl, Amy Pritzl, Aaron Pritzl and fiancee Michelle Guenette, Ellery and Penny Frahm, Erika Frahm, Matt and Kay Clark, Tim and Carole Clark, and Andrea Clark. Mom was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister-in-law Teresa Kreutzberg.
    Preceding her in death were her husband; three sisters, Mary Ulman, Asella (Sal) Gresl, Monica Oberrieder; five brothers, Conrad, Theodore, Clarence, Elmer and Edward.
    Volunteering was part of Mom's life with more than 12,000 hours at St. Elizabeth Hospital and decades of service to St. Mary's Church and School, St. Mary's Adult Choir, the Resurrection Choir, and St. Bernard's Mission Group.
    Special to Mom, and in her own words: "Foster care is very dear to my heart. There is joy and satisfaction in a baby's morning smile, their enjoyment of a bath, and restful sleep. Foster care is a family affair." We enjoyed sharing Mom with 33 children.
    Visitation will be Wednesday, March 2, from 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton. Prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Thursday, March 3, at St. Mary Church, 312 S. State St., Appleton, starting at 2 p.m. with funeral Mass celebrated at 4 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Church, St. Elizabeth Hospital Volunteers Scholarship Fund, or Sisters of St. Agnes Retirement Fund.

    George O. Gomm, age 92, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Seymour. He was born on November 25, 1924, son of the late Raymond and Dora (Schmit) Gomm in Greenville. On May 6th, 1947, he was united in marriage to Rosemary Hoffmann. They just celebrated 70 years of marriage. George farmed for 30 years in the Town of Maine. George was the Town of Maine clerk for 35 years, a member of the Board of Directors for Nichols Coop Association, a member of Shiocton School Board for 10 years, a trustee for St. Denis Catholic Church and a Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus.
    George loved traveling with his wife Rosie. They wintered in Texas for many years. He enjoyed camping, gardening, tinkering in the shop, aviation, and EAA. George will be remembered by many as a kind man who always had time for a great conversation.
    George is survived by his wife Rosemary; children, Phil Gomm, (special friend Penny Rohm); David (Julie) Gomm; Sue (Rick) Schlintz; Sally (Jamie) Wickesberg; foster children, Debra, Harland, and Danny; grandchildren: Josh (Amanda) Gomm; Scott Schoelzel (special friend, Abby Young); Steve (Mara) Schlintz; Laura Gomm (special friend, Domingo Garcia); Mason Gomm (special friend, Haylee Conradt); Sara Rohm and Miranda Rohm; great-grandchildren: Ethan White, Lilly, Jackson and Oscar Gomm, Maya Schoelzel, Charlie and Abe Schlintz; siblings, Germaine Croell; Kathleen Leeman; Rosella Zitzke and Raymond (Diane) Gomm; sister in-law Nancy Porter and brother in-law Gerald Jarek. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    He is preceded in death by his parents, a grandson Brandon Gomm and siblings, Lorraine Schroth, Jerome Gomm, Dorothy Jarek, Charles Gomm and Annaciel Gomm.
    Funeral mass for George will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Denis Catholic Church, Shiocton, Fr. Richard Allen and Deacon Ken Bilgrien will be officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Meadow Wood Assisting Living, Good Shepherd Nursing Home and Unity Hospice for all their care and concern of George.

    Jerome R. Gomm, Age 87, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 9, 2015. He was born at home in Shiocton on November 30, 1927 to the late Raymond and Dora (Schmit) Gomm. He attended and graduated from Shiocton High School in 1946. After graduating high school, Jerome enlisted in the US Army as a paratrooper in the 11th Airborne Division. While serving, Jerome was stationed in Japan at the conclusion of WWII. After being honorably discharged from the Army, Jerome returned home and went on to marry Patricia Woods in June of 1951 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Appleton.
    Jerome began his career at Appleton Manufacturing where he worked in the core plant. He worked in sales and did estimation work until his eventual retirement from what became Sonoco Products Company in 1989. Jerome was an avid Packer, Badger and Brewer fan, and always looked forward to the next game on TV. He also loved hunting, fishing and reading books about history, religion and finance. Jerome always enjoyed playing cards, and in his later years he played Sheepshead at the Thompson Center in Appleton. He was also a loyal member of St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton. Most importantly, Jerome was incredibly proud of his grandchildren, Sean and Deidre, and he loved being part of their lives as they grew.
    Jerome is survived by his son, Mark (Mary) Gomm; grandchildren: Sean and Deidre; siblings: George (Rosemary) Gomm, Germaine Croell, Kathleen (Glenn) Leeman, Rosella Zitske, Raymond (Diane) Gomm; brothers-in-law: Jerry Jarek and Tom Woods; sister-in-law: Nancy Porter; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
    He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brighid Gomm; former wife: Patricia Woods; siblings: Lorraine (Clarence) Schroth, Dorothy Jarek, Charles Gomm, Annaciel Gomm; brothers-in-law: Lyle Zitske, Duane Blom, Earl Burton and John Croell; sister-in-law: Janette Woods.
    The Funeral Liturgy for Jerome will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH (213 E. Wisconsin Ave., Appleton). Visitation will be held at church from 12:00 PM until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name.
    The family would like to thank Dr. Rangbula and Dr. Goggins along with their staff for the care given to Jerome over the past years.     Bob Kettner, 80, Stephensville, passed away peacefully, on Friday, December 19, 2014. Bob was born on April 29, 1934 in Appleton, to the late Andrew and Rose (Diemer) Kettner. He graduated from Shiocton High School, and received 13 certificates from Fox Valley Technical College over the years. Bob was very proud of his service in the US Army from 1957 to 1959.
    Bob was an owner/operator driving dump truck frequently for Murphy Construction and Trico Excavating. Bob opened his own shop in 1975 where he dedicated his time to welding, painting, and creative projects. Bob loved gardening and built a beautiful park adjacent to his shop. On April 23, 1977 he married Evie Loret in Stephensville.
    Bob enjoyed life on the water and spent many weekends on their houseboat on the Wolf River. Many recognized the boat by the custom decorative helicopter Bob built. Bob and Evie opened Mr. and Mrs. K's Family Restaurant in Greenville.
    Bob is survived by his wife of 37 years Evie, by his children; Rhonda (Sonny Butler) Settergren, Dawn (Mitch) Bessette, Jodie (Tom) Wynboom, and his beloved child still at home Dipstick, by his grandchildren; Justin and Nathan (Jennah Applin) Bessette, Cheyenne, Andrew, and Breeanne Wynboom, and by his grand cats; Gizmo and Reno. He is further survived by his brothers; Jerome (Esther) Kettner and Maynard (Rosie) Kettner, by his sister Kathleen (Leon) Griesbach, and by in-laws; Eugene (Trish) Bushor, James (Shirley) Bushor and Cookie (Bruce) Hardy, and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Claudette (Winslow) Selvig, and Bucky Bushor.

    Kenneth Berner, Appleton, age 80, died Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Rennes Health Center. He was born on November 19, 1936 to the late Larry and Hilda (Deimer) Berner in Appleton. Ken graduated from St. Mary's in Menasha and owned the Camera Exchange for 48 years. He served in the Army Reserves and was a member of the Appleton Elks, attaining the rank of Exalted Ruler. Ken also served as Commodore at the Appleton Yacht Club and loved hunting in Colorado and Wyoming. He was an avid Packer fan and was a season ticket holder since the 1950's. Ken spent many enjoyable cottage weekends at Maiden Lake. He also helped collect maple sap with the Valitchka's for decades, enjoying the friendship of his fellow "sap slaves."
    Ken will be missed by his wife of 28 years, Ruth "Cookie" Berner; special friend, Alice; and especially the McDonald Gang. He is further survived by his sister, Sandy Berner of Santa Monica, CA; many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

    Stephensville - Alvin "Tex" Griesbach, age 85, entered into eternal life on March 4, 2018. He was born July 28, 1932 to the late Edward and Viola (Beschta) Griesbach. In 1961, he was married to Charlotte Becker; they shared fifty-seven years of beloved marriage. The couple resided in Stephensville, Wisconsin for fifty-seven years, often traveling to their cabin in Minocqua. He enjoyed riding his Harley, hunting, fishing and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After returning from the service, he attended Barber School. Pat went on to work for Wisconsin Bell and retired after 32 years of service.     Hortonville - Leonard "Lenny" Robert Griesbach, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 20, 2018 at his residence in Hortonville. Lenny was born on December 31, 1950 to the late Edward and Viola (Beschta) Griesbach in Appleton. He was united in marriage to Sherry Flunker on March 16, 1974.     Joyce C. Hermann, age 79 of Omro, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Oshkosh. She was born on August 14, 1935 to the late H. Louis and Leona (Dresang) Griesbach in Appleton. She married Robert Hermann, and together they had 8 children. Joyce enjoyed camping, gardening, listening to country music and doing crossword puzzles.

    She is survived by her children; Richard (Faye Burrows) Hermann, Carl Hermann, Mike Hermann, Ronald (Diana) Hermann, Larry Hermann, Kathy Herman, Deb Dickrell and Rose Hermann, 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Joyce is further survived by her brothers, Glen and Dennis and sister, Bernice.
    Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert and brother, Eugene.
    A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton.

    Ann Marie (Kreutzberg) Immel, age 77, died Friday, September 30, 2016, at Thedacare Regional Medical Center in Appleton after a short illness. Ann was born on July 2, 1939, daughter of the late Jeanette (Puls) and Clarence Kreutzberg. She was employed by Wisconsin Power and Electric for many years. Ann also worked at Bowers Feed Mill in Wrightstown and then in food service at Wrightstown High School. She married Glenn Immel on May 16, 1961 at St. Mary Church in Greenville, and they lived in Wrightstown most of their lives.
    Ann is survived by brothers: Eugene (Judy) Kreutzberg, Henry (Mary) Kreutzberg and John (Jackie) Kreutzberg and a sister-in-law Margaret Kreutzberg. She is also survived by a very close friend, Arlene Oakley, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn; brother Milton Kreutzberg; sister Patricia Kargus and a brother-in-law Norman Immel.
    Visitation will be held at St. Clare Parish-St. Paul Site, Wrightstown, on Monday, October 3, from 9:30 am until 10:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Fr. Carl Meulemans officiating. Entombment in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Cotter Funeral Home of Wrightstown is assisting the family.

    Brian Sebastian Griesbach, formerly of Appleton. Brian passed away peacefu lly at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, Florida, on February 3, 200 5, as a result of a construction accident. He was born in Appleto n, WI on February 8, 1969, the son of Glen and Rose Marie "Patty" (Sturm ). He was raised in Appleton and graduated from Appleton East High Scho ol in 1987. Brian was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwauke e, with a Bachelor's Degree in journalism.Brian worked for the St Croix Times, Virgin Islands, for 2 years and th en for the Fountain Hills Times, Arizona for 5 years as a writer/journalis t. He then returned to Wisconsin to work for his brother's construction bu siness. Most recently, Brian was residing in Port Charlotte, FL, worki ng as part of the hurricane repair efforts. He loved writing, reading, fis hing, golfing and the ocean.Brian is survived by his parents, Glen and Rose Marie; three brothers: Gr eg (Cindy), Tim (Tani) and Randy (Linda), all of Appleton; two sisters, Jo an (Pat) Forbes, Queen Valley, AZ; Deb (Jack) Christianson, Appleton; a nd 11 nieces and nephews: Misty, Jamie, Adam, Sam, Stacie, Emily, Melani e, Josh, Melanie, Amanda and Randall.The funeral mass will be held at 6 p.m., on Thursday, February 10, 20 05 at ST.
