    Geraldine Coenen, age 89, passed away at St. Paul Home on Friday evening, March 27, 2015. She was born in Oneida on October 8, 1925, daughter of the late Jacob and Kathryn (Van Rooy) Voss. In 1947, she married Cyril Biese. The couple was blessed with eight children, six of whom survive. Cyril passed away in 1965. In 1967, Geri married Robert Coenen, and they shared many happy years until his death in 1993. Many will remember Geri for her love of playing sheepshead, jigsaw puzzles, and word search puzzles. She was also an avid bingo player. In her younger years, she worked as a housekeeper at Appleton's Zuehlke Building. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
    She is survived by six children: Tom Biese of Kaukauna; Joe Biese of Appleton; Jan Biese of Hollandtown; Marge (Larry) Lacosse of Hermansville, Michigan; Cheryl (Albert 'Ken") Iverson of Little Chute; and Patricia (David) Coonen of Kaukauna; eight grandchildren: Amy (Brian) Liebergen, Gabe (Dayna) Lacosse, Lindsey (Skip) Truty, Eric Iverson, Taylor Iverson (Nicole), Jenny (Ryan) Roth, Chris Van Asten, and Stacy Biese; six great-grandchildren: Jakob and Owen Liebergen, Nora Lacosse, and Addie, Gabby, and Burke Roth. Molly Thies, a longtime family friend, also survives. Additional survivors include Bob's daughter: Rose (Don) Aerts of Wrightstown and their children: Paul (Nita) Aerts, Dan (Dawn) Aerts, Cathy (Steve) Koltz, Dave (Tracy) Aerts, and Sara Aerts; as well as ten step-great-grandchildren. There are also many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Geri was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands Cyril and Robert, a son Michael, and infant daughter, a brother Tony Voss, a sister Jen (Lester) George, and a step-son Curtis Coenen.
    A funeral service for Geri will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue in Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Inurnment will be in Appleton's St. Joseph Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 PM until the time of the service. Memories may be shared by visiting www.wichmannfargo.com. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
    The family would like to extend their gratitude to all of the wonderful caregivers who watched over Geri. They include Dr. Schoening, St. Paul Hospice Staff, the nurses, residents, and everyone at St. Paul Elder Services. You made our mother's days safe and comfortable. And a message to her bingo buddies: "WIN EARLY."

    Duane D. George 620 George Street Kaukauna Age 44, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 1999, after a 13-year battle with brain cancer. He was born November 2, 1955, in Kaukauna, son of Donald and Dorothy (Evers) George. Duane worked for Appleton Papers for 25 years where he was a rewinder operator. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. Duane loved his dog Snowy, working on cars, going fishing, and racing events, especially tractor pulls. Survivors include his beloved children, Sara and Emily George, Appleton his parents, Don and Dorothy George, Little Chute a brother, Dennis and Judy George, Appleton a sister, Diane and Tom Diedrich, Kaukauna eight nieces and nephews, Christopher, Brian (Jenny), Andrew and Nicole George Jennifer Tyler and her son Austin Shawn Diedrich and fiancee Stephanie Hespe Jay Diedrich and fiancee Amanda Morey and Tara Diedrich in-laws, Ron and Bernice Young, Kaukauna and his cancer support friend, Jeff Meulemans. Duane was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester George, and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Evers Sr. The funeral liturgy will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, November 12, 1999, at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Dave Hoffman officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place in St. John Cemetery in Little Chute. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in his name. FARGO FUNERAL HOME 400 W.
