Biography:
Fred came to the U. S. with his brother, Ludwig, arriving at Ellis Island on the Nieuw Amsterdam from Rotterdam, Netherlands on December 2, 1913. The brothers boarded with an Indermuehle family in the Clintonville, WI area while they earned money to send for Fred's family in 1914.
The WWI Draft Registration gives Fred's correct birth date. At that time (September 1918), he was living in Appleton and working at Fox River Paper Company. His wife, Pauline, is shown as his next of kin.
The 1930 census shows that Pauline got married at age 18 (1905). Fred owned a farm in Outagamie County in the Township of Greenville. All three children were living with them in 1930.Fredrick married Wedmann, Pauline Abt 1905. Pauline was born 1 Jul 1887, , , , Poland; died 14 Oct 1970, Appleton, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA.
