    Patrick McCabe Wrightstown, Wis. Age 82, passed away early Wednesday evening after a short illness. He was born July 25, 1879 in the town of Kaukauna. He married Frances McGinnis in 1915 and then they moved to the village of Wrightstown. Mrs. McCabe preceded him in death in 1953. Mr. McCabe was a farmer and lumberman and retired from the Brillion Iron Works after World War II. Survivors are two sons, James, Denmark, Wis. and Perry, Wrightstown; three sisters, Misses Susan and1 Julia McCabe, Rural Kaukauna and Mrs. Rose Ehnerd, Appleton; 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Pauls Catholic church, Wrightstown with interment in St. Patricks cemetery. Sniderville. Friends may call at the DeWane Funeral Home, Wrightstown, after 7 p. m. Thursday. Rosary will be prayed Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m.

    James Peter McCabe, 81, De Pere, died Monday morning, May 11, 1998 at his home. James was born in Wrightstown on June 11, 1916 to the late Patrick and Frances (McGinnis) McCabe. He is a graduate of Outagamie County Normal School in Kaukauna. He taught in the state grade school system at Briggs School, West De Pere, West Eaton School and at Pine Grove. In 1949 he became an accountant for Steve's Cheese Co., and later for Wisconsin Accredited Cheese Co., Green Bay. On June 18, 1941, he married the former Lillian Pritzl at St Mary's Catholic Church, Brillion. He was a veteran of World War II as a member of the 103rd Infantry Division, 384th Field Artillery Battalion, Battery C. He was a past commander of the VFW Post 6705, past president of the Holy Name Society at All Saints Church, and a member and past officer of the Knights of Columbus, Fr Platta Council No. 4735. James taught CCD classes at All Saints Church in Denmark for many years as well as being acting minister of the altar. At present, he was a member of our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in De Pere. Survivors include his wife, Lillian, De Pere; five sons, Steve (Annette) McCabe, Marshfield, Wis, Robert (Judy) McCabe, Denmark, Jerry (Debi) McCabe, Wausau, James McCabe Jr, Appleton, and Patrick (Sue) McCabe, Owatonna, Minn; three daughters, Mary (Rod) Klutz, Neenah, Nancy (Greg) La Ferve, Kewaunee and Sue Walter, Appleton. He is further survived by 18 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Friends may call at Knutson Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Cty Hwy R in Denmark on Wednesday, May 13 from 4 to 9 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday until the cortege leaves for Church. Denmark VFW Post 6705 will hold a service at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday followed by a Knights of Columbus service at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 14, at All Saints Catholic Church, Denmark with Monsignor Robert Gulig officiating. Entombment at the Shrine of The Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Dad and Grandpa, your children and grandchildren thank the Lord for the love He gave to us through you as our dad and grandpa. You taught us love, humor and compassion. We will miss you dearly. We have great comfort and solace from the people from Hospice who cared so lovingly for him and we extend many thanks to Father Conrad and Father Jim, also Robin Cribb who visited and extended spiritual support
