Obituary:
Veryl M. Warning, age 91, formerly of the Township of Matteson, Waupaca County, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at St. Joseph Residence, New London.
Veryl was born on February 14, 1922 in the Township of Greenville, Outagamie County, the daughter of the late Roland and Ella (Fetzer) Jack. On April 19, 1941, Veryl was united in marriage to Wilbur Warning in Hortonville. The couple lived on a farm near Hortonville until 1947 when they moved to a farm in the Township of Matteson. While farming, the couple also started and operated Warning Implement on their existing farm. Wilbur preceded his wife in death on May 31, 1990 after 49 years of marriage. Veryl later moved to Marion and then moved to St. Joseph Residence, New London where she has lived since. Her hobbies included traveling, watching birds, enjoying animals and the outdoors.
Survivors include: Her daughter: Sandra (Kenneth) Leher, Fremont, Her sister: Joyce Hoerig, Appleton
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wilbur, her brother, Eric Jack, and her daughter, Ruby I. (Loyal) Wilk.
With respect to Mrs. Warning's requests, a private family interment will be held at the Appleton Highland Memorial Park.
