1848 The following written by John Verboot, Nov 23, 1897 NOTE - This family was part of the group of the first families to sett le in the Kaukauna, Hollandtown and Little Chute area of Wisconsin."We were thirteen families, all Hollanders. Father Godhart was our leade r. The captain and sailors of our ship also were Hollanders. I have forg otten the exact number of emmigrants on board the LIBERA, but it was abo ut 80 persons. The following are the names of the heads of these familie s. Hans Klassens, from Grave; Martinus Verkuilen, from Uden; Hein Groen s, from Volkel; Niklaas Dennison, from Volkel; Antoon Verkampen, from Volk el; Antoon Verwijst, from Uden; Mr. denkboom, from Amsterdam; Albert van d en Berg, from Cuyk; Ebben, from Mill; Johannes Tillemans and fiancee fr om Boekel, Jan Verboort, from Volkel, and two youths reckoned as belongi ng to the Verkampen family.We spent several days at Rotterdam on board the LIBERA in order to purcha se food and other neccessities, for in those days each passenger had to b uy his own provisions, ad the captain was not allowed to accept any passen ger who had not complied with the prescribed regulations. Everything was c arefully weighed, a number was put on each passenger'sbag or package whi ch the captain put under lock so that later, according to the ship's rule s, a fixed daily portion could be doled out. Passengers were not permitt ed to use as much of their provisions as they wished, but only as mu ch as the captain allowed, in accordance with teh rules. A small amou nt of drinking water was portioned out each day. The passengers, howeve r, did not have to provide their own drinking water; this the shipping com pany brought on board at Rotterdam.When everything was in readiness, the LIBERA left Rotterdam. At first o ur boat was drawn (by another boat), later it was pulled by horses to Hell evoetsluis. There were at the moment of our departure two other ships wi th emmigrants ready to leave for America. About these ships I know littl e, so I shall say nothing about them. Ours was the first of the thr ee to depart; it also was the first to arrive at its destination.We encountered our first storm in the English Channel. The captai n, as a measure of precaution, took refuge for three days in an English ha rbor. I believe it was the Isle of Wight. Later we had other serious storm s, the worst being, if I recall accurately, on Easter Suday (April 11 ). it lasted three days and blew so voilently that the hatches were clos ed and only small space was allowed the passengers to go on deck when nece ssary. Sails were furled, but accidents could not be prevented. just befo re the storm struck we could count fifty ships around us. but as so on as the storm began to blow, not a single ship could be seen any more. E xcept for this storm nothing noteworthy happened on the voyage which was t edious but, considering time and circumstances tolerable.After a voyage of 52 days we arrived safely at the dock in Boston on Frida y, May 5. the next day we left by train in boxcars for Buffalo. Three of t he thirteen families stayed in Boston; denkboom, who did not want to trav el further; Antoon Verkampen and Antoon Verwijst who did not have mon ey to travel further; and Dennissen stayed in Buffalo because his wife w as sick and died. We sailed from Buffalo to Machinac Island where we stay ed three days until we could get a sailing ship for Green bay. from the re we proceeded up the Fox River by scow or flatboat propelled by six m en who used poles. this took two entire days. From Kaukauna we were brou ght in two wagons, drawn by six oxen,to Little Chute where we arriv ed on 22 May. There we rested and laid pans for the future."

Biography:
Mr. Van Abel is a native of Holland, born February13, 1827, a son of Andrew Van Abel, a farmer in comfortable circumstances in that world renowned dairyland, and who was the parent of five children that lived to adult age, of whom three are yet living, viz: William, in holland township, Brown Co., Wis.; Ellen, living with our subject; and Martin. The father of these died in 1844, the mother, whose maiden name was Mary Kempen, passing away in 1863. They came with some of their children to Wisconsin in 1851, three years after Martin's emigration.Martin Van Abel received a fair education at the public schools of his nat ive land until thirteen years of age, when he went to work on a farm, a nd so continued untill his emigration to the United States, which event to ok place when he was 21 years old. Having been drafted intothe Dutch arm y, he concluded the best way to avoid service would be to "take French lea ve," and emigrate. Accordingly, on the good ship "Liberia," bound from Ams terdam for the United States, he in the spring of 1848, set sail from h is native land, arriving after a voyage of 54 days, at Boston. Thence trav eling westward via Buffalo (where he took passage on the "Old Michigan" ), he landed in Green Bay May 10 of the same year. From there he came to w hat is now Holland township, in company with the following named, who we re among the first settlers of the village of Holland: William Kempen, Hen ry Vandehey, Henry Hovener, Henry Gerrits, Martin VerKuile, Albert Vandenb erg, John Arts, George Vanden Heuvel, and John Verboort. At this time t he land was all new and uncleared, in fact, in its primeval condition, tot ally untouched by the hand of man, and here they decided to form a pure ly Dutch colony. In order that they might not only con¬verse in their moth er tongue, but also worship as they did in their faraway native land, th ey brought with them their own pastor, Rev. Godhart. The party came by w ay of Wrightstown, and from there continued their journey by teams, in t he direction of their destination; but at the end of three miles they fou nd themselves confronted with an impenetrable forest, defying farther prog ress with anything in the shape of horse and wagon; consequently the tea ms were left behind, and all the goods and chattels carried through the wo ods on the backs of the immigrant colonists.Arrived at last at their goal, they made their first settlement on a pie ce of land now owned by Martin Van Abel. Shanties or huts were hurriedly b uilt of bark stripped from the basswood tree, and for a long time this w as their only shelter. Each member of this party took up land for his o wn account.During the first year Martin Van Abel, being young and strong, worked f or some of the others who had families, and as there were no roads of a ny kind, boundaries, farms or fences, he found plenty to do at chopping do wn the giants of the forest, and out of the hewn logs building dwellin gs of a more substantial nature. The first land purchased by Mr. Van Ab el was forty acres, all timber-covered, in Calumet County, 1/2 mile from t he Village of Holland, for which land he paid 10 shillings per acre, and h ere he cut the first tree that ever fell to axe on the place, all the prel iminary improvements on the place being made by his own hand; and, as the re was no means of removing the trees as they fell, huge bonfires were mad e, which consumed many a thousand feet of valuable timber. About 1862 o ur subject removed to Section 35, Holland township, where for one ye ar he lived on rented land, then in Section 34 he bought the 12 acres wher eon is now his home.But Mr. Van Abel, since coming to Holland township, has been more interest ed in mercantile pursuits than in farming. Shortly after his arrival in t he Village of Holland, in partnership with his brother¬in-law, John Wassenberg, he opened out a mercantile business, conduct ed by them two years, at the end of which time our subject bought out h is partner and afterward carried on the store alone until 1880. In that ye ar fire destroyed his store and stock in trade,causing him great los s, as he had but little insurance. Nothing daunted, however, he rebui lt at once, bought a fresh stock, later adding thereto a saloon busines s, all of which he has since conducted with eminent success, the grow th of his trade necessitating the enlargement of his premises from ti me to time, until now he owns quite a commodious establishment. To his la nd he has, by purchases at different periods, added until now he has 130 a cres.In October, 1961, Mr. Van Abel was married, in Holland township, to Miss E llen Wassenberg, a native of Holland, born May 16,1842, a daughter of Will iam Wassenberg, who came to the United States with his family in 1851 on t he same boat in which the mother of our subject and others of the family c rossed the Atlantic. To this union came children as follows: Born in Calum et County --John, now a farmer of Holland township; born in the Villa ge of Holland --Mary, now the wife of Theodore Broeren, of Portland, Orego n; Hattie, Mrs. Henry Van Deuren, of Green Bay; William (1), deceased at t he age of 2 years; Minnie, one of the Sisters of St. Francis, in Manitowo c, Wis.; Michael M., at home; Henry H., a graduate of Green Bay Business C ollege; Lizzie, who died young; Annie, William (2) and Anton, all thr ee at home; Bardene, deceased; and Albert, at home. Mr. & Mrs. Van Abel a nd family are prominent members of St. Francis Church at Holland. Politica lly he has always been a staunch Democrat, and has served as supervisor, a lthough he has never sought office, his many private interests demanding a nd receiving all his time and attention.Mr. Van Abel is one of the four yet living of the original party of pionee rs who came into the Holland settlement in 1848 --nearly 1/2 a century a go during which long period he has witnessed marvelous changes and experie nced hardships unknown to and not readily realized by the present commerci al generation. He is a living type of the progressive man, who from boyhoo d, with but little education and no knowledge of the English language, eas ays to build up a home and reputation in the wilds of a new part of a n ew country, and succeeds by his own brawny muscle and indomitable will pow er. He was confronted with the stern forest, and he subdued it; he encount ered innumerable difficulties, and he overcame them; he met with ruinous a dversity, but Phoenix like, he built up better and higher. He and his amia ble wife had a large family to rear, and they brought them up nobly in t he backwoods, educating them as well as if they had lived in the finest ci ty; and taught them to know and to live up to the knowledge that they a re worthy children of worthy pioneer parents, respected everywhere.

Henry Van Able Sent to Workhouse for 40 Days by Judge A. M. Spencer
The charge that anv moonshiner in Outajramie-co. can be acquitted by asking for a jury trial was refuted Monday when a jury of twelve men sitting: on the case of Henry Van prominent saloonkeeper of Kaukauna. found him guilty of having moonshine whisky in his possession. Judge A. M., Spencer of the municipal court also refused to entertain a motion of Attorneys Rooney and Gropan for a stay of execution and sentenced Van Abel to 40 days in the county workhouse, without option of paying a fine. The verdict of guilty was brought in by the jury after nearly three hours of deliberation and a hard fight by the state. Moonshine seized by federal prohibition agents in the raid on the. saloon Jan. 21 was found, upon analysis, to contain about 8 per cent alcohol, the officers testified. Further testimony brought out that the defendant, on seeing the raiders approach, took the whisky kept in a fruit jar and poured it into a rinsing trough back of the bar. Two sons of Van Abel testified that they had "picked up" this liquor in bottles about the place, having been left there by men who frequent the saloon. The conviction and sentence of the Kaukauna saloonkeeper brings to an end a case that has been adjourned several times since last January.

Died suddenly Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 27. He was born in Hollandto wn April 25, 1882 and lived in the vicinity all of his life. He had operat ed a general store, dance hall and tavern until ten years ago when he acce pted employment at the Dundas Canning Company until about four months ag o. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Thomas and James at hom e; one brother, William of Hollandtown; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Broer en of Thorp. Funeral Services were held at 10 o'clock Saturday morni ng at the St. Francis Catholic church, Hollandtown - Rev. John DeVries w as in charge and burial was in the parish cemetery. The pallbearers we re nephews of the deceased, Bob VanAbel, Don VanAbel, Jim Vandehei, Gera ld VandeHei, Henry VanDueren, Francis VanAbel. Margaret Wildenberg, age 95, of Kimberly, passed away on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Appleton Retirement Community. She was born on November 3, 1916 in Hollandtown, the daughter of the late Henry and Ann (Curtain) Vandehey. On February 4, 1944, Margaret married Peter Wildenberg at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. He preceded her in death. Margaret worked at Kresge's prior to her marriage and was a bookkeeper for the Schmidt's at U.S. Oil for many years. She was very proud of being a founding member of the employee credit union, which later became Fox Communities Credit Union. Margaret was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, Kimberly, and enjoyed the prayer-partner volunteering she participated in. She was a talented athlete and excelled at bowling and golfing, as well as being an avid sports fan who enjoyed each season with great gusto. Margaret was full of fun and shared that fun with her family, Mariner scout troop, her card playing and square-dancing friends. She was also a talented pianist and was always ready for a sing-a-long.
Margaret is survived by: her daughter, Ann (Bob) Larson of Madison; granddaughters, Eri Larson and Emily (Victor) Larson Rodriguez; great grandson, Ariel Larson Rodriguez; sister, Ruth Hawley; sisters-in-law: Milly Langedyke, Elva Wildenberg, Jeanne Smith and Peg Wildenberg. She is further survived by many loved nieces and nephews.
Others holding a special place in her heart include members of the Pete and Gerry Demerath family, the Glen and Marian Vandehey family, and her prayer partner and friend, Caleb Gossens.
The funeral liturgy for Margaret will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 2, 2012 at Holy Spirit/Holy Name Church, 620 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly. Fr. David Beaudry will be officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of mass. Ruth E. Hawley, Clintonville formerly of Kaukauna, age 95, died peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Shawano Medical Center. She was born July 14, 1919 in Appleton, WI, daughter of the late Henry and Anna (Van Abel) Vandehey. On October 1, 1937 Ruth married Edwin Hawley in Green Bay. The couple enjoyed 60 years of marriage together prior to his death on January 14, 2003. Ruth loved to play cards, bowl, golf, fish and cook. She enjoyed spending time with her family; this was very precious to her. Ruth worked as a Diet Tech at AMC until her retirement. She was an active member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.
Ruth is survived by her children: Jerome (Toni), Plymouth, WI, Patricia (Robert) Sievert, Hot Springs Village, AK, Robert (Nancy) Clintonville, WI, Leonard (Mary), Oshkosh, WI, David Hawley, Menasha and Donald (Betty) Appleton; 20 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 18 great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed.
The Memorial Mass for Ruth will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9. 2014 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH at St. Aloysius Church, 2401 Main Ave., Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Van Abel, Wilfred A. "Wil l" Hollandtown;Age 83, died at his home early Tuesday morning on Octob er 22, 2002. He was born on July 13, 1919, the son of the late William a nd Nell (Curtin) Van Abel. He attended Kaukauna High School and also atten ded one year at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He enlisted in t he United States Army Air Corps in 1940 and trained to become a fighter pi lot. During World War II, he served our country by flying a P-47 fighter p lane in the 56th Fighter Group, 63rd Squadron. In September, 1943, he w as shot down and was a prisoner of war for 21 months. On August 28, 195 4, he married Anne "Duff" Duffy at St. Francis Catholic Church in Hollandt own. Will was very active and served in many organizations. He was a memb er of and served: the Knights of Columbus as an honorary lifetime membe r, the Urban Klister Post 436 of the American Legion in Wrightstown, Fox V alley Golf Club as a charter member, Ducks Unlimited, Holland Sanitary Dis trict for 40 years (also serving as President), Justice of the Peace in Ho llandtown, Hollandtown Fire Department as a charter member, Brown County Z oning Commission, and even earned the honor of being the Schut King in 196 8. Will enjoyed golfing for many years at Fox Valley Golf Club. He also lo oked forward to his fishing trips to Lake Vieux Desert and the spring wall eye run. He especially loved goose hunting over Collins Marsh with his tru sty labradors. On June 28, 1945 he married the former Bernice Hop fensperger and together they resided in Hollandtown their entire married l ives. On March 27, 1993, she preceded him in death. Don and Bernice, alo ng with Will and Duff, owned and operated Van Abel's Supper Club. His grea test enjoyment came from visiting with employees, customers and longtime f riends at the restaurant. Don was a member of St. Francis Catholic Churc h, Hollandtown where he sang in the Men's Choir, a member of the Fox Vall ey Golf Course, the Knights of Columbus and was a founding member of the H ollandtown Fire Dept.Survivors include four daughters and a son-in-law: Pat and Charlie Lindber g, Sherwood and his children, Sue Van Abel, Katie Coenen both of Hollandto wn and Joan Van Abel of Kaukauna; three grandchildren: Chris, Ann and L ee Coenen; special nephews and niece; Tim, Mike, John, Jerry, Pat and Ja ne (Marx), who worked by his side as they grew up; two sister-in-laws: Du ff Van Abel of Hollandtown and Julie and Marv Hooyman, Arizona; a sister a nd brother-in-law, Marianne and Ralph Griesbach of Sterling, Illinois. D on is further survived by his wife's family; Bea Hopfensperger, Kaukaun a, Bud Garvey, Freedom, Don and Ginger Stuyvenberg, Kimberly and Connie Ho pfensperger, Gillett. He will also be missed by numerous nieces, nephew s, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, B ernice; a son-in-law, Earl Coenen, three brothers and a sister-in-law: Wi ll Van Abel, Bob and Helen Van Abel, Jerry Van Abel; a sister and a brothe r-in-law, Nancy and Bud Grams.The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2003 at St. Fra ncis Catholic Church of Hollandtown with Fr. Thomas R. Van Abel, 82, Kaukauna, passed away on Friday morning, Nov. 25, 2011, at his residence. He was born Feb. 15, 1929, in Appleton, to the late Albert and Mary (Campbell) Van Abel. On April 26, 1958, he was united in marriage to Jacquelyn Jacques at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna.
Tom was an U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, stationed in Europe. He was employed by Thilmany Paper for many years until his retirement. Tom was a long-time member of the Kaukauna Elks Club, a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and the Men's Choir at St. Francis Catholic Church in Hollandtown. He enjoyed golfing and spending the winter months with his wife, Jacque, in Florida, along with their many friends from the Hollandtown area.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jacquie; three children, Mark (Kimberly), San Diego; Amy (Bill) Sarles, Mequon; and Craig (Mary), Appleton; six grandchildren, Lauren Van Abel, Molly, Megan and Emily Sarles, Joshua and Nicholas Van Abel; and a brother, James (Marlene) Van Abel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mary Van Abel.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Thomas will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at St. Katharine Drexel Parish @ ST. FRANCIS CHURCH, 433 County Rd. CE, Hollandtown with Fr. Kaukauna - James E. Van Abel, age 87, of Kaukauna, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 4, 2018. He was born on October 11, 1930, son of the late Albert and Mary (Campbell) Van Abel. Jim married Marlene DeLeeuw and together they have celebrated over 61 years of marriage.
Jim ran the family farm until 1965, and then enjoyed serving his insurance clients for over 30 years until his retirement. Jim was an active member at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Kaukauna for many years, and was in the choir and an usher for 50 years. Jim had a lifelong passion for bowling that started as a pin setter at VanAbel's of Hollandtown at the age of 16. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events. Jim most valued spending time with his family whether just visiting, or playing a good game of sheephead or cribbage.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Marlene Van Abel; children: Gary (Elizabeth) Van Abel, Dick (Sue) Van Abel and Karen (Joe) Meyer; grandchildren: Carolyn (Kyle) Coleman, Mary (David) Lenz, Michael Van Abel, Luke (Michelle) Van Abel, John (Kelsey) Van Abel, Leah (Aaron) Williams, Laura Taggart and Bryan Meyer; great grandchildren: Ella and Adeline Coleman, Elijah Lenz, Joy and Sariah Van Abel and Isla Williams; brothers and sisters-in-law: Betty Courtney, Rosemary Kraus, Clarence (Lois) DeLeeuw and Joyce DeLeeuw; nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mary, and his brother, Tom (Jacque) Van Abel.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at St. Katharine Drexel Parish, St. Mary's Church, 119 W. 7th Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerome "Jerry" E. Hawley, age 77, of Plymouth passed away on November 2, 2015 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Plymouth (Formally Plymouth Care Center), where he was a resident for the past 2 years.
Jerry was born on May 7, 1938 in Appleton, WI, son of the late Edward and Ruth (Vande Hey) Hawley.
He graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1956 and attended University Wisconsin Oshkosh graduating with a degree in mathematics. He married Toni Mankosky on February 1, 1958 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna.
Jerry worked in sales all his life and retired from Harvestore Company in Kiel. He was a member of the Elks Club in Fond du Lac, served at the Cabaret Club and Curling Club in Clintonville. He also was an avid fisherman and deer hunter.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years: Toni of Plymouth; five children: Carrie (Steve) Freund of Sheboygan, Colleen (special friend: Larry Bubb) Nigh of Sheboygan, Kelly (special friend: Larry Palm) Meyer of Plymouth, Craig (Lisa) Hawley of Little Chute and Mike (Stephanie) Hawley of Mequon; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one sister: Pat (Bob) Sievert of Arkansas; four brothers: Bob(Nancy) Hawley of Clintonville, Len (Mary) Hawley of Oshkosh, David Hawley of Menasha and Don (Betty) Hawley of Appleton.

Jerry Van Abel, Hollandtown, age 47, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 11, 2010, following a brief battle with cancer. Jerry was born in Kaukauna on May 17, 1962, son of the late Will and Duff Van Abel, and was currently a partner in the family business, Van Abel's of Hollandtown. Jerry enjoyed outdoor activities, including, hunting at "the farm", fast-pitch softball, whiffle ball and skiing. Drawing and reading were also favorite ways he spent his free time. Everyone will remember Jerry for his passion for fishing - he loved the river, and had countless "secret" fishing spots along its banks that he knew so well. Most of all, he enjoyed time spent with his three children.
He is survived by his children: Kyle Van Abel and Dean Van Abel, both of Kaukauna, and their mother Lisa Van Abel; and Roslyn Van Abel of Appleton and her mother Paula (John) Mobley. He is also survived by his brothers and sister: Tim (Nancy) Van Abel of Hollandtown; Jane (Gary) Marx of Scandinavia; Mike (Diane) Van Abel of Kaukauna; John "Gus" (JoAnn) Van Abel of Menasha; and Patrick (Kristie) Van Abel of Darboy; and several special cousins: Patricia and Charlie Lindberg, Sue Van Abel, Katie Coenen, and Joan Van Abel. Patricia Lindberg, 63, of Sherwood, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born on June 3, 1946, in Hollandtown, the daughter of the late Donald and Bernice (Hopfensperger) Van Abel. Pat married Charles Lindberg on January 4, 1988, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Hollandtown. Pat was the co-owner of Van Abel's Supper Club and many will remember her at the family restaurant with her cheerful greeting and smile. Pat was the organist at St. Francis for 40 years. She loved spending many hours with the men's choir and was very proud of being a part of it. Pat was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sherwood. She graduated from Silver Lake College, Manitowoc. Pat enjoyed crocheting and her hybrid rose garden.

Sue Van Abel, age 68 of Hollandtown, passed away at her home on Friday morning, February 26, 2016. She was surrounded by those she loved. Sue was born on August 19, 1947, daughter of the late Donald and Bernice (Hopfensperger) Van Abel. She was a graduate of Kaukauna High School and the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Sue loved to travel in her younger days and there was no main road for her. Sue was also an integral part of carrying on the family business.
She is survived by two sisters: Katie Coenen and Joan Van Abel; two nephews and a niece: Christopher (fiancée Sara Baciu) Coenen, Ann (Peter) Golden, and Lee Coenen; the bright lights of her life, a great-niece Catelyn Golden; a great-nephew Marcus Golden; a brother-in-law: Charlie Lindberg; and her cousins and partners: Tim (Nancy) Van Abel, Jane (Gary) Marx, Mike (Diane) Van Abel, John "Gus" (JoAnn) Van Abel, and Patrick (Kristie) Van Abel along with many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Pat Lindberg, a cousin Jerry Van Abel, a brother-in-law Earl Coenen, and her aunt and uncle, Will and Duff Van Abel.
The family would like to thank Sue's doctors, great neighbors Floyd and Diane Kempen, Golden Touch Homecare, Vivian Domask, Debbie Laabs, and the incomparable Chris Neumeyer for their loving care and friendship. The family also would like to thank the staff of Van Abel's of Hollandtown for their care and support.
A celebration of Sue's life will be held at Van Abel's of Hollandtown on Saturday, March 5, 2016, beginning at 3:00 PM. The St Francis Men's Choir will be performing at approxamately 5:30.
