Obituary:
Mrs. Harvey Gehring. 74. 812 N. Durkee street, died at her home at 10 o'clock Saturday night after a 2- day illness. She was born Dec. 10. 1865, at Ontonagan, Mich., and moved with her parents to Howard's Grove, Sheboygan county, when 3 years old. Mrs. Gehring moved to Freedom when 17 years old and lived there until coming to Appleton 17 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Gehring observed their golden wedding anniversary Oct. 10, 1939. She was a member of Mt. Olive Lutheran church. Surviving are the widower; three daughters. Mrs. Lester Barker, Jacksonville, Fla.; Mrs. Elmer Koerner, Miss Marie Gehring, Appleton; two sons, Walter, Elmer, Appleton; a sister, Mrs. Oliver Gehring, Black Creek; six grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:45 Wednesday afternoon at Wichmann Funeral home and at 2 o'clock at Mt. Olive Lutheran church by the Rev. R. E. Ziesemer. Burial will be in Community cemetery, Freedom. The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
