    Obituary:
    James R. "Jim" Minkebige of Kaukauna. After a full and active life as a Local Businessman, Father, Husband, Sportsman and Athlete, Jim died peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2007, at AMC. He was born December 9, 1936, to the late Robert and Mable (Hilgenberg) Minkebige in Kaukauna. On April 4, 1959, Jim married the former Carol Schulze at Holy Cross Catholic Church. The couple resided in Kaukauna their entire married lives where Jim and Carol owned and operated the Bowling Bar in Kaukauna for 37 years until their retirement this last August. He was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman, who enjoyed various types of hunting and fishing over the years. Jim also enjoyed his cottage in Rapid River and all the natural beauty it had to offer. He was a lifelong member of Fox Valley Golf Club and carded two separate "hole-in-ones" over the years. Jim was a prolific bowler, once scoring a perfect 300 game. Bowling and the socializing that came with bowling was something Jim and Carol cherished over the years, especially all the friends they met along the way. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
    He is survived by his wife, Carol Minkebige; his three children: Mike (Michele) Minkebige and their two children, Caroline and Robert; Holly (fiance, Kurt Johnson) Minkebige; and Dave (Debbie) Minkebige and their son, Matt (Erica) Murray; and a sister, Patty (Roger) Bosin. He is further survived by a niece, Shawn (Troy) Trudeau; a nephew, Blake Bosin; a sister-in-law, Ethel Schulze; a brother-in-law, Harold Gensler; special friends: Dan Wildenberg, Butch (Eileen) Cavol, Mary, Russ and Boomer; and many other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother and father in law, Dewey and Esther (Mueller) Schulze; a sister-in-law, Shirley Gensler; and a brother-in-law, Louis Schulze.
    A Memorial Service for Jim will be held at 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, 2007, at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna with Rev. Tim Albrecht officiating. Family and Friends may call from 3 p.m. until the time of service. In Lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
    Jim's family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at AMC for the care and compassion they gave him during his time of need.

    Obituary:
    Jon S Minkebige, born Feb. 14, 1956, son of the late Karl H and Mary K (Bayer) Minkebige, passed away peacefully on Aug. 11, 2017 at the age of 61, after living with rheumatoid arthritis for over a decade. Anyone that knew Jon could see his struggles, but you would never hear about it from him. He stayed independent to his last few days, taking care of his two best friends, his dogs, King and CATO. Jon was a lifelong resident of Kaukauna like his dad. He inherited his dad's artistic talents and loved to paint; especially skulls wearing Packer helmets. He had a passion for cars and was the proud owner of a '57 Chevy that he turned into a beautiful classic.
    Jon will be sorely missed by his two sons, Max and Nick Minkebige, brother Dan (Paula) Minkebige, sister Kay (Dave) Lerche, and two grandsons Lincoln and Jude. Jon has two aunts, Vivian Bayer and Betty (Bayer) Ebben and many cousins.
    Jon will be quietly laid to rest by his family at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna.
