    Obituary:
Nancy Werner, 55, Appleton, passed away suddenly at work on Friday night, December 9, 2011. Nancy was born in Appleton, on August 6, 1956, daughter of the late Clement "Bud" Werner and Helen (Birling) Werner who lives in Appleton. She graduated from Appleton East High School and also received a degree in Occupational Therapy from Fox Valley Technical College. For over 30 years, she had been employed at Appleton Papers. Nancy played fast-pitch softball for many years and later enjoyed golf, especially with her golfing buddy, Terry Ver Voort.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Werner, Appleton; three brothers, Tom Werner and his special friend, Sue Kanta, Rapid City, S.D.; Don (Cindy) Werner, Arlington, Texas; and Bill (Amy) Werner, Appleton. She was also a loving aunt to her very special nieces, Molly and Hannah; two nephews, Jesse and Ryan; and two step-nephews, Richard and Troy. She also leaves behind several aunts and uncles, Barb (Jay) Leimer, Appleton; Jerry Birling, Menasha; Dan (Deb) Birling, Menasha; and Sandie Birling, Menasha; and a very special friend, Mary "Huffy" Hoffman. In addition to her many loving family members, Nancy is also survived by two additional aunts: Evelyn Birling and Arlene Werner. There are also many other relatives, friends and co-workers that will miss Nancy.
At her own request, no funeral service will be held at this time, but the family asks that when you see the first snowflakes fall this year, think of them as Nancy sending a message of love to each and every one of you. Our thanks to everyone who was a special part of her life. Wichmann Funeral Home
