    Obituary:
Douglas P. Gluth, 57, Clintonville, formerly of Appleton, was called to his Heavenly "workshop" Home on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, peacefully at his residence.
Doug was born on Oct. 2, 1954, in Clintonville, the son of Marie (Stilen) Gluth and the late Paul Gluth. He was a graduate of Clintonville High School in 1972, continuing his education at NWTC in Green Bay where he graduated with an Industrial Wood Working degree. This led him to becoming a respected business owner of Brown County Cabinets of 38 years until his declining health. On Aug. 31, 1984, Doug married his high school sweetheart, Connie Arndt, in Eau Claire Dells, Wis. The couple lived in Appleton until 2009, when they moved to their present home near Clintonville. Doug was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Appleton, an active member of the Appleton and Clintonville Curling Clubs, founder of the Appleton Rock Runners and a member of the Clintonville Trap Club. Doug loved fishing and hunting anything-anywhere. All who knew Doug knew him for his love of life, devotion to his wife and son, and love of wood and beer.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Connie, his son, Matthew Gluth, Madison; his mother, Marie Gluth, Clintonville; his sisters, Colleen Swift, Atlanta, Ga.; Connie (Bruce) Parkovich, Marinette, Wis.; Ronda (Tim) Olmsted, Pulaski; Renee (Dan) Katch, Freedom.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul August Gluth and his brother-in-law, Leland
    Swift.
Memorial services will be held 6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at the St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville, with The Rev. Daniel Burns officiating. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established.
The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville is assisting his family with the arrangements. An online guest book may be signed at www.eberhardtstevenson.com
