In 1987, she moved to Minneapolis, MN and was accepted into the school of Occupational Therapy at the University of Minnesota, where she graduated in 1991. Shelly enjoyed her daily workout; going for walks, golfing, and bowling. She was very artistic, She enjoyed playing piano, and dancing a polka with her father. Shelly loved to entertain, and keeping holiday traditions with her family was very important. Her family meant the world to her. Everything she did revolved around her husband and her girls.
