    Age 82, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 8, 2001, with his f amily by his side. He was born February 7, 1919 in Isaar, Wisconsin; s on of the late Julius and Dorothea (Seefeldt) Ziesemer. Gordy farmed unt il 1966 at which time he went to work for the Institute of Paper Chemistr y, where he was employed for 11 years. In 1979 Gordy and his wife "Micke y" purchased and operated Mic-Gordon's Inn in Kaukauna until retiring in 1 987. Following retirement, the couple enjoyed trips to California and L as Vegas. Gordy loved playing Bingo and talking with people. He was a memb er of First English Lutheran Church in Appleton and the Kaukauna Moose Lod ge 953.

She was born April 20, 1924 in Green Bay daughter of the late Albert and Louisa (Zeismer) Zegers. On July 31, 1947 she was united in marriage to Austin Koeppel. He preceded her in death October 7, 1994.

    Leland J. Zegers Sr., 74, 2331 Woodrow Way, died Tuesday, April 20, 2004. Leland was born on Feb. 6, 1930, to the late Albert and Louise (Ziesemer) Zegers. He worked for Northwest Engineering for over 30 years. Leland also worked at Zeller Marine. He married the former Mary Lukowicz on Dec. 30, 1950; she preceded him in death on July 4, 1984. Leland enjoyed fishing, hunting and his cabin at St. Germaine. He also enjoyed spending good times with his friends, Bob and Dick Bender, Jim and Maryanne Koltz.

Ruth was bo rn March 16, 1936 in Shiocton to Rella (Young) Ziesemer and the late Dani el Ziesemer. She graduated at Appleton High School with the class of 195 4. On April 28, 1956, Ruth married Herbert “Nookie” Frederick Stoeger at S acred Heart Catholic Church in Appleton. The couple enjoyed 41 years toget her until his death in 1997. Together with her husband Herbert, Ruth own ed and operated the family business Stoeger Manufacturing, and Stoegers Co lonial Antique and Gift Shoppe in Chilton for many years, and has resid ed in Appleton for the past 4 years. Ruth was a very kind and caring perso n, making many sacrifices of herself, for the benefit of her family. She e njoyed gardening, and was well known for her beautiful tulip and rose gard ens.     Todd J. Abel, 49, of De Pere, died suddenly of natural causes on Monday, February 15, 2010. He was born January 30, 1961, to the late Gerald and Mary (Zegers) Abel. Todd was a 1979 graduate of Seymour High School. He enjoyed woodworking, boating, fishing, going to his land up north, but especially spending time with his family and friends. Todd had worked for 28 years at New Page Paper Mill, and graduated from NWTC.
    He is survived by his children; Troy Abel, Tiffany Abel, and Tamra Abel, as well as his girlfriend, Dawn Gustafson. Todd's siblings further survive: Lou Ann O'Malley, Tim Abel, Tom Abel, and Tina (Scott) Pelishek. His godchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, many friends and the mother of his children, Lorri Abel survive him.
    Todd was preceded in death by his infant son Brian, his parents and his brother Jerry Lee.
    Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 145 St. Joseph Drive, Oneida, until the Mass of Christian Burial at 6:30 p.m. with Fr. David Duffeck officiating. Please go to www.ryanfh.com to send online condolences to the family. The family requests no flowers or plants, please. A memorial will be established to assist with funeral expenses. The RYAN FUNERAL HOME is assisting with arrangements.

    Joy Marie Stoeger, age 53, of Appleton, died Friday, August 17, 2012 suddenly at her home. Joy was born July 14, 1959 in Appleton to the late Herbert and Ruth (Ziesemer) Stoeger. She attended Johnston Elementary School, James Madison Junior High School then moved to Chilton where she continued her education. Joy worked and helped manage the family businesses for 28 years. She was a very talented and creative person who loved art - especially drawing and calligraphy. Joy also enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing - her specialty being large, fully dressed teddy bears. She was a collector of unique jewelry and colorful Carnival glassware. Joy was an avid reader and researcher in alternative health products and techniques. She was a mentor also to many in her family.
    She is survived by her sister, Ann (Jerry) Lintner, Chilton; 4 brothers: Tim and Mark Stoeger of Chilton, and Eric and Jim Stoeger of Appleton; her niece, Jamie (Reed) Beyer and their children Emma, Trent, and Kayden, New Holstein; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and special friends Lillian and Daniel Lammers, Black Creek.
    Per Joy's wishes, private family services will be held.
