Barlow, Robert W. "Bob" Little Chute formerly of Saxeville
Age 45, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 24, 2002. He was born June 21, 1957 in Appleton; son of Guy and Phyllis (Eckels) Jr. Bob married Tina Jansen, March 17, 1984. Mr. Barlow was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Combined Locks. He graduated Sheboygan South High School in 1975 and was employed at Kimberly Clark. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed the family cottages at Pine and Pelican Lakes. Bob and Tina owned and operated the Ding Tavern, Saxeville before moving to Little Chute. He was a former volunteer firefighter for the Saxeville Fire Department and a former member of the Wild Rose Lions Club.
Bob is survived by his wife Tina; two daughters: Jessica Barlow and special friend Chris, Stevens Point; Missy Barlow, at home; a son, Jake Barlow, also at home; a grandchild, Natasha; his mother, Phyllis Barlow, Pine Lake; his mother-in-law, Dolores Jansen, Little Chute; two brothers: James (Ligaya) Barlow, Iowa; and Bill Barlow, Atlanta, Georgia; a sister, Laura Jane (Mark) Deckert, Sheboygan; three brothers-in-law: Tom (Pat) Jansen, Appleton; Terry Jansen and special friend Sue, Stockbridge; Todd (Adalia) Jansen, Kimberly; a sister-in-law, Jenny (Mike) Wydeven, Plover; nieces and nephews: Justin, Kristin, Lindsay, Nikki, Connor, Emily, Lisa, Jessi, Tito and Alito. He is also survived by other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Barlow Jr.; and father-in-law, Joseph "Bully" Jansen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 601 S. Washington Street, Combined Locks with Rev. Bill Schroeder officiating. Friends may call at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
Bob loved his family and friends and he lived life to the fullest. He touched many hearts and lives. He will be missed by all who knew him.
