MRS. W. F. BUCK, MEDINA PIONEER, DIES SUDDENLY
Wife of Postmaster Succumbs While Husband Is Seriously Ill at Hospital
Mrs. W. F. Buck, 68, wife of the postmaster at Medina, died early Monday morning following an illness of about a week. Her husband is very seriously ill in St. Elizabeth hospital where he has been confined for about two weeks. The decedent was a member of a pioneer family of Medina. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. John Rupple with whom she came to this country at a tender age from Canada. She had been a resident of the vicinity of Medina all the years of her life in the United States. She was married to Mr. Buck about 46 years ago. Her widower and one child Mrs. Jay Bottensek of Hortonville survive. Mrs. Buck became ill with a cold a few days after her husband had been conveyed to St. Elizabeth hospital for an operation. Her condition became gradually worse until the end came on Monday. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 at the late home and at ? o'clock at the Methodist church at Medina, with Dr. Richard Evans district superintendent, in charge.
