    Wes proudly served his country in the United States Army where he was privileged to be a chauffer from the Pentagon. He was honored to have driven for General Douglas MacArthur's funeral, and President Johnson's Inauguration.

    Obituary:
    Wesley Warden Loose, age 72, of Chilton, died on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at his home in Chilton. He was born June 7, 1940 in the Town of Rockland, son of the late Elmer & Gertrude (Lau) Loose. He attended Trinity Lutheran School in Rantoul and after reading all of the books in the library during his high school career, he attended Fox Valley Technical College where he earned his Millwright Card.
    Wes proudly served his country in the United States Army where he was privileged to be a chauffer from the Pentagon. He was honored to have driven for General Douglas MacArthur's funeral, and President Johnson's Inauguration. Following his honorable service, Wesley married Evelyn Kratz on April 1, 1967 at Faith Lutheran Church in Valders. During his life, Wes worked for Chilton Products for 43 years, 7 months, and 22 days until he began enjoying his retirement in 1998. A short time later, he began working part time for Vande Hey Brantmeier between 2002 and 2010.
    He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul where he had been baptized and confirmed, and was a past member of St. Martin Lutheran Church. He also belonged to the Chilton VFW Post 3153. Wes was a voracious reader who enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending as much time as possible with his beloved grandchildren.
    He was a man of integrity with a true heart of gold; Wes would go out of his way to help those around him and make their lives and circumstances better. Wesley loved his life, and knew that it was truly a gift from God, which he treasured as such.
    Survivors include his wife of 45 years: Evelyn; 3 children: Kim (Andrew) Schnell of Kiel, Kevin (Kim) Loose of DePere, Kay (Nathan) Ruh of Chilton; 8 grandchildren: Amber, Bethany, Tiffany, Alexandra, Arianna, Kyler, Nicholas, Selena; 3 great grandchildren: Serenity, Lily, Piper; 2 brothers: Rodney (Vera) Loose of Colorado, Duane (Karen) Loose of Brillion; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Art Kratz of Brillion, Ralph Kratz of Manitowoc, Bernice Behnke of Brillion, Lillian Mangin of Manitowoc, Norbert Kratz of Brillion; and his beloved little dog: Foxey. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother: Darrell Loose. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul with the Rev. Tim Benninghoff and Rev. Wayne Huebner officiating. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm on Saturday, September 1, 2012.
    A memorial fund has been established in the name of Wesley W. Loose.
    The family would like to thank Karen and the Calumet County Hospice, as well as Dr. Goggins and his staff for all of the loving care that they provided. They would also like to thank Rev. Huebner and Rev. Benninghoff for the visits and prayers and Pastoral care.
